I love the smell, and it has great flavor!

Very potent and the right aroma. The container was packed FULL. Kind of made a smokey mess the first time I opened it.

I bought it as a gift for my mother and she loved it .

Add a mild smoke flavor to your cooking without burning wood! Some food just won't do well in a smoker. Use a little of the powder to "smoke" almost any food, especially when it is inconvenient to fire up the smoker.

I bought this to add a little smoky punch to my grilling rubs. When I received it, I taste tested it. It was surprisingly bitter. I thought it would be more mellow like the mesquite smoke powder that I had been gifted by a family member. Despite my surprise, I think I can work with it. Since I usually add brown sugar and other flavors to my rubs, they seem to offset the bitter, and leave the smoky that I was looking for. It seemed to play well with the pork chops I grilled the other day. So I'm going to try it in a few other things, including the Asian inspired stir fry seasoning I made up when I made the grill rub, and see how well I like it in there too.
