Excellent quality black gouache, perfect for refilling a portable palette
I have a 24-pan travel palette in which I mostly keep watercolour paint, with the addition of a white and a black gouache. This AOOK jelly gouache is my new go-to black for this palette because I’m very impressed with the quality. It dries well in the palette and does not crack. It wets and blends well, and it’s an intense, pure, dark black that is perfect for outlining with a fine brush, as well as covering larger areas. The packaging is brilliant – it makes it super simple to refill the palette, and the cap closes tightly. Once the bag is nearly used up, it will be easy to open up to get every last bit of paint out of it, so no waste! I highly recommend this brand and I’m looking forward to trying some of their other colours.
