Minnetonka Women's Kilty Soft Leather Sole Moccasin

Arrived quickly and packaged well enough. Packed very well in the 'shoebox.'First thing other viewers were correct regarding sizing. I went down one half size and should have gone down one and one half with expectation they will stretch out. (Regular 7 and 1/2 and look for wide.)Would have liked more color choices, thinking another color would have been better - oh well not worth returning.I purchased these for an indoor slipper. Prefer Barefoot but with only tile get dirty feet really quick where I recently moved into.I look for this type of shoe from a pair similar I purchased over 20 years ago. The company no longer made that style. :( sadly the company no longer made that style. Those were pretty tight when bought and took a long time to stretch out too loose. Finally wore them out beyond repair. Took a prolonged search to find something like them and this was the closest I could find.Have only just got them and not sure about the foam pad sole insert. Might be too hot in my tropical climate. But probably would be too big without the insert and wear through the sole much quicker. With a good size bunion on one foot I do like I don't need to stretch that shoe out to accommodate it. (Very reactive to the slightest pressure.)I like I don't feel like kicking them off when sitting down like with a even lightweight slipper type shoe. If I walked a lot in them I am sure they would be too loose too big. However they will not take any breaking in and stretching out for places too tight on foot. Very soft suede leather. I like zero support features. Entire sides and bottom of foot is one whole piece of leather. No irritating stitching anywhere or rough edges. Overall happy with this shoe and looking forward to getting much use out of them.

I LOVE these! They are so comfortable. They fit perfectly. I am older and have had low-back issues, and these are a great indoor shoe with just a bit of cushion but still the moccasin feel that I remember from years ago. They are well put together.

features clearly state these run large and to get 1/2 to a full size smaller and reviewers verify that so i got a size 6 (i wear 6.5-7 in sandals and 7-7.5 in enclosed shoes). size 6 is still a little loose on me, on back part and center sides, toe area is fine (at first was tight at my big toes but, that loosen within a couple hours of wearing). i think since my heels came right out of shoes when my hubby slightly lifted me up to kiss me goodnight tonight and as fast as these are stretching out already in just one day, i should of gotten a 5 1/2 and dealt with tighter toe area for longer.These however are still comfy in their loose fit state though, i am happy with them but, won't be when they become too big to wear barefooted since i hate socks.. I also had to do some alterations to them because inside upper area part was scratching my foot due to the inside stitching/hem part, i had to trim some of the leather off both shoes there so it would stop trying to rub my foot raw. i also had to alter the thick leather straps because they lace into shoe part in same area and that as well was causing issues on my foot an leaving indentions on them, no big deal on that one for not a fan of laces anyways so i relaced them outside of shoe under flap part and tied into a tight double knot on top of flap and cut off excess strap and now i am happy with shoe and no more rubbing irritating my foot anywhere (plus i think shoes look better without laces on them).. oh and i had to cut off some of the insert on back heel, it went up inside back of shoe on heel part on left shoe just enough to make it feel like something was in shoe and it cause my foot to lean outward, trimmed off easy enough.so these shoes are great AFTER you make them great for you it seems. even with the issues 'I" personally had, which all ended up fixable, i would still rebuy these and actually will rebuy a pair in 5 1/2 for outside use after i wear ones i have for a month to see how much more these stretch out first.oh and it is very hard to tell which is left and which is right shoe with these, when i look at my feet i keep seeing them as being on wrong foot when they are not (i think lol), it would be nice if they would put R & L on the labels inside shoe for us.

I wanted real leather shoes and these are great. I'm wear them outside in the grass and around the house. They are comfortable and my feet feel so much better, after years spending hundreds on super padded, expensive shoes. They are larger than the stated size, so I ordered a full size smaller. I actually could use another half size smaller.

These have been my favorite slippers for many, many years and I'm pleased that the quality is as excellent as always. The price is very reasonable too - it hasn't gone up and up and up, like so many other things. These slippers are perfect for inside the home - lightweight, attractive and they keep my feet at the perfect temperature. Moccasins will never go out of style for me - I will continue to purchase as long as they make them!

I'm glad I listened to the reviews that advised to size down. I wear a 8 - 8 1/2 shoe size, and purchase a size 7. They were initially a little snug, but not uncomfortable. I use them as house shoes and occasionally step out to my deck with them. After several months, I can say that they have loosed up some, fit super comfortable, and I can even wear socks with them.Size down.

These run a full size maybe even a size and a half too big. I was expecting them to run big as it states that and I ordered correctly but I wish I had ordered them even smaller. They are comfortable. I don’t like the little kilt fringe at all. I wish they were plain like the men’s version. I have only had them a month and wear them very little and they are already showing signs of wear. They also will NOT stay tied. Literally every few minutes I must stop and tie my shoes. That’s flipping annoying. Minnetonka used to be made much better. I am disappointed in the quality and the craftsmanship.
