Jaws 3 [DVD]

This remains one of my favourite films as a child. Before everyone says I must be mad, my reasoning is that the film is unique. How many sharks films are there. Loads ! How many shark films set in a theme park? One - Jaws 3.Yes the special effects are dated, but it still make me smile when I see Shelby Overman suddenly rise up in the tunnels.Plus, who knew sharks have vocal cords.I am hoping that this box set will be worth some money in the future.

It wasn’t safe to go back into the water.Loved this filmThe two boys are all grown up now.Shark still looks fake as anything, but that is what good cinema back then is all about.lol.

Despite the back of the box saying Jaws 3D is on the blu ray, there is no blu ray with it.

A classic

The 4K ULTRA HD Blu Ray disc version of this film has greatly improved sound and picture quality over the standard Blu Ray disc version when played through a 4K ULTRA HD Blu Ray player and a 4K ULTRA HD TV with HDR (High Dynamic Range).

Just another shark

I love the jaws movies and this is an ok one. It failed for me because I didn't like the enclosed setting. I much preferred the open sea element of the other films which for me made the characters more vulnerable - even though the attacks by the shark was similar.I didn't like the theme park aspect at all really. I was pleased to see Richard Roundtree as I am a fan but it felt like he was all that interested in being there. Simon MacCorkindale also seemed off his game and didn't give his best performance. Dennis Quaid and Bess Armstrong were also fairly mediocre.The whole film was a bit lax and really let the series of Jaws movies down.I didn't hate it and quite enjoyed it - but it wasn't the quality that you would expect and certainly was no where near as good as the original.
