Q: Can you use chalk with the Vise Grips?

Yes, absolutely. Oftentimes the bars in your gym may have enough chalk on them already. Therefore, you don't necessarily need to add anymore. They also grip very well without chalk and many athletes even prefer not to add any chalk.

Q: Do you NEED to use the finger holes?

You are not required to use the finger holes, but we encourage it as the grip length has been increased slightly to accommodate a "fold" when curling your fingers against the bar. This "fold" provides additional grip and protection.

Q: How do you wash the grips?

Start by using a damp cloth and rubbing the surface of the grips gently to remove dirt, chalk, and debris. If that doesn't help, add a little dish soap to the wet cloth and continue to rub gently. Don't use too much soap. Allow to air dry after.
