Easy to work with
his is the best clay on the market. I have RA in both hands and this clay is the easiest to use for anyone that has hand issue like RA, carpal tunnel or even hand grip problems. It is soft and doesn't have to be kneaded alot to get it smooth. I have never had it crack once dried. It cost less than other clays. It would even be great for kids to craft with. I highly recommend this brand of clay.

How to keep it moist and workable and other notes
Love this. I use it in my art practice. To keep it from drying out after opening, seal it in a plastic container along with a wet paper towel. Not dripping wet, but more than damp. Use it soon (within several months) or it can get oldy-moldy. After shaping, it air dries. If it cracks while drying, the cracks can be filled. No kiln needed. You can sand, drill, add more paper clay, paint after it dries. Very versatile.

Best Air Dry Clay For Artists
In my opinion this is the best air dry clay on the market. Takes trial and error to work with it just keep it moist with a few drips of water in your hands but once it drive you can drill ir, paint it, sandpaper it. Excellent product.

Easy to use
I had never used this type of product before. It was easy to use and dried very quickly. I needed to fix a hat piece and it ended up working good. I painted it once dry and you can hardly tell it was ever broken.

This is a great product that she uses a lot of in her ...
I purchased this product for my daughter who is a college Art Major student at UCF. This is a great product that she uses a lot of in her Art class. It is an air hardening modeling material or clay for artists & crafters. What you do is you shape or mold the clay and let it dry. No baking in an oven or firing in a kiln. It hardens on it own. My daughter uses her crafting/ molding tools to help create the shapes she is looking for. It hardens well and does not leave a mess all over the place. It is easy to sand down and smooth out. Once the product dries and hardens you will be able to paint it every easily. This product says it is available at Walmart and Michaels, and sometimes you can find at a Joann Fabrics. We found that she was running all over the place hunting for this product and most of the places she went only had a few in stock if any at all. I ordered her this on amazon and it came in a timely two day fashion as specified. It also is cheaper to purchase on amazon. The price at Michaels was about $2.00 more than the price on Amazon. So if you are an art student or major and you use this type of paper clay mold that hardens like a ceramic, I suggest you only purchase it on Amazon and get it in two days rather than driving to every single art store in your county looking for it. It is a great product.

Light-weight, easily molded, shrinks when dry
Unlike others who have reviewed this clay, it was fine and just as expected. It molds easily and it was easy to add small chunks to the shape in process. I used it to fill in a plaster fruit that had been dropped and broken into 5 smaller pieces. I hoped this product would provide additional strength to the glued-together result. Overall I'm satisfied, although the clay shrank quite a bit. I'd guess shrinkage was about 2 or 3 percent. (That is, with a 10-inch long mold, the result would shrink maybe 1/4 inch.) I ended up pouring Elmer's glue into the small separation between the inside of the fruit (the "mold") and the hardened clay (the "cast"). This worked fine. Bottom line: If you need dimensional stability you will probably be disappointed. If you don't need this, you likely will find this product meets your needs.

Fun product
I'm using this with tiny face molds for spun cotton and it's so fun and smooth. This is so much better then trying to make my own.
