Works just perfect for bed ridden person. Comfortable and absolutely no smell at all. Opened completely in about 6 hours.

Have had egg crate pad before and this one is perfect amount of cushion! Switched to 3"memory foam and it has been pretty rough on us at 60+ yrs old. This egg crate 1.5" thickness is perfect for some hip comfort, not too much sinking in and it doesn't heat up overnight.

It was so tightly rolled and crushed that it has never risen to its expected and promised height! It is basically a flattened sponge. It is not "egg carton" but almost flat...a blue sponge. It arrived yesterday and I am still waiting for its rise. Not as advertised. A very expensive flat piece of foam.
