It's a sign. I haven't had any solicitations since I got it. Maybe it works, maybe I'm getting lucky. I used to have a stack of crap at my door if I went out of town for a week. I think a lot of people are trying to use clever/funny signs with subtext and people are ignoring them. Like all the nonsense signs of "don't trust the dog and the cat's a jerk, please don't ring my bell it's awkward" that my neighbors have just get ignored. These people are walking up and going away within 2 seconds, they're not reading a 120 word sign and interpreting it.
