Don’t believe it!!!
The description says these can be used for chemicals and gas. I tried to use them in a diesel line and it failed, shutting off the flow. I guess diesel is more caustic than gas.

Real positive connection
Used them for a diesel line and they worked well

Decent quick disconnects
The first few times using this quick disconnect was fine. The issue is connecting/disconnecting, within a day and first 10 disconnects I noticed the o-rings are catching the release tab. It ends up ripping the o-ring and doesn't create a seal to maintain pressure. I replaced the o-rings and it works again. Just make sure that the release tab fully clicks in before disconnecting.

Does not work with diesel
After only 1 day the plastic broke down and the valve inside closed off the flow of diesel to my chinese diesel heater.

Used for tap system
I bought these for my home tap system. It made connecting, the lines on my beer tower to the lines off of my kegs easy.

Not for fuel
Does not work with Jet-A or diesel- the internal o-rings swell and stop flow. Buy from a reputable source that can provide information on compatibility.

Don't believe everything you read.
Had this same design on my KTM dirt bike. These are better! 2 "O" rings instead of 1 that my KTM had. Auto shutoff is a plus. My KTM was not. Very happy with these. These work great!

Doesn't seem to work with diesel fuel
I bought 2 different sizes...1/8 and 3/16. Initially both hooked up and worked great in small diesel line, but after separated and left unhooked for a couple days the inside of the female couple on both must have melted because both sizes shot out the plunger and spring valve.

Don't buy these if using with diesel.
I had these plumbed into a diesel heater for a week. When I went to disconnect it the guts of the female end blew apart. The o-rings are swollen and it won't reconnect. I did see the other review saying not to use with diesel but had to see for myself....
