Goat Hoof & Coat Powder - for Wound Care, Foot Rot, Skin Problems - All Natural, Non-Caustic, Easy to Use (10 oz)

I truly believe this is working on our goats hooves. I have been applying it twice a day and it is really easy to apply and it doesn’t seem to bother them at all. I am new to owning goats and I was recommended this product by another farmer close by and I am glad I tried it as it has been affective in battling cracked hooves.

I was getting really worried about my mare. Her hooves were getting bad. They were super cracked and brittle in spots but soft underneath. She was starting to limp on one of them. I already moved pastures so she wasn't subjected to overly wet conditions anymore.I tried all kinds of supplements and different boots on her. I pulled her shoes off since they didn't seem to help and she wasn't being ridden. I started soaking. Her bad hoof in trace mineral and water and began to see improvements. It wasn't til I started using Four Oaks Farm Ventures, Goat Hoof & Coat Powder a couple times a day that I felt like I was finally getting on top of this. Her hooves are becoming stronger and aren't chipping off daily. There's new growth that looks healthy and I protect that with this powder.I kind of think the supplements and soaking got the new growth doing better, but without this powder giving it strength and hardness; it wouldn't have done as well as it is now. It's definitely been teamwork, but we're finally winning the battle!!

This powder is easy to apply. My goats are on the milking stand and just dust it on. We’ve had a lot of rain this summer. Hooves get angry quickly when the ground is wet. Love having this powder on hand to help when it’s needed. The product works well, and the goats don’t mind. In my opinion it certainly my speeds up the healing process.

When working on my ‘medicine cabinet’ for my goats, I quickly learned that there isn’t much for them and a lot of products are actually designed for other livestock. Naturally that can come with risks. When I found this product that is specifically for goats, I was excited to try it.I like that it can do a lot of different things. It doesn’t just work on skin but also on hooves! It’s simple to use and similar to a product I own for my horses. I use it just like that one and like the dry powder. I keep it out of reach in the barn because I know they would knock over the bottle and play with it if they could get to it. I appreciate the natural ingredients. To me, it’s important it’s not only safe for me to use but for them to be treated with.

I never knew that there was a powder "solution" to my goat problem! This is so much easier to use than the green stuff that I always get all over me! I use this on my goat's hooves after a trim in order to prevent any problems from occuring-so far-so good! AND NO MESS!

I haven't used this brand yet but this kind of thing is great for livestock. It's good to have on hand in the inevitable case your livestock (sheep in our case) end up injured or with health issues.

I ordered this because my donkey managed to hurt himself on one of his ears, it has a clear cut and it seems he ripped his ear like an inch. He bled a lot and at first I disinfected it, but when I received this I followed the instructions to simply dust it onto the wound. It already started healing up and he looks much better! I'm so glad to have this on hand, will probably be needing it soon again as my sheep seem to always get into some kind of trouble. I cannot speak to how it would work for hoof rot, but for wounds it's great! And since it's not a liquid, my donkey didn't make a run for it (bribed him with grain though...). He's super scared of sprays and anything liquid we try to apply. Thank you for this product!
