I had come across Mat Lloyd through my interest in spoken word poetry events. After finding him on Twitter and discovering the link to his fantastic website I was mesmerised! He performs like a true pro and his poetry defies the stuffy traditions of the past. Mat has a gift of being able to express what the youth of today are feeling; I admire him for that.As a Keates admirer, I wasn't sure whether I would enjoy his contemporary style but I was hooked after I began side one of the Demo Tape!Look out for The Kiss, my personal favourite.
