One word: Awesome.
I read all the reviews before buying this sauna. It works, and I love it. For those unfamiliar with far infrared (FIR) saunas, many people don’t sweat their first few times in one. I myself had to use this sauna 5-6 times before I started to sweat. Anyway, I’ve been using it every day since I got it, and it has been helping me detox so much, both physically and emotionally.Yes, it does look kind of silly to have your head sticking out the top of a huge silver tent thing, but you’re in the privacy of your own home, so who cares? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯The way this sauna works is through a controller that sets the temperature and duration. There are three large FIR panels: one on each side and one on the back. There are zippers on the front for your hands/arms so you can look at your phone, read a book, etc. There is a wooden dowel that latches across the front (inside) to help the sauna hold its shape. The unit plugs into a standard two-prong outlet.Positives:- It heats up in 2-3 minutes and has a flap that goes over the neck hole to minimize heat leakage before you get in.- I’m a petite adult woman (5’4”, 110 lb), and this thing heats me all the way around my body; even my legs sweat. A larger person may have different results, as evidenced by other reviews.- It has double-sided zippers everywhere.- The foot warmer is fantastic.- The pocket can fit your phone and a slim remote control.Downsides:- The sauna controller has a very loud beep and looks like a clunky 1980s relic. That said, it works, so NBD, I guess?- The chair that comes with the sauna is awful and hurts the side of your legs. It’s just a cheapo camping chair that you could (and should) replace.- The sauna doesn’t have a “comfort neck strap” like the item description says. Some heat does escape around my neck, but I use a towel to block it off, and it’s fine.I wish I had gotten it sooner! The thing that sealed the deal for me was the video review by the fellow who tested the sauna with an EMF meter. As he showed, this sauna is indeed low-EMF if you’re sitting in the middle. That was good enough for me, especially given the absurdly high EMF ratings in many of the larger infrared saunas by companies like JNH that go for about a thousand bucks. Some background and thoughts about other home saunas below. (Who cares? You can skip this if you want, but I did a LOT of research before buying this portable sauna, so maybe my info can help others.)I work at a spa, and we have a “hot coals” Scandinavian sauna in our facility — it is super nice and I love using it, but I quickly discovered that I don’t enjoy being in it with other people: our customers recognize me as an employee and then talk the whole time, LOL, when I just want to zonk out and sweat. My husband and I were thinking of buying a two-person home sauna for our basement but quickly realized we’d need to spend $3000+ to get one with a decent build quality that was also low-EMF. We were slightly tempted by the Ensi line by JNH, but my hubby (a professional carpenter and fine millworker) disliked how all the JNH saunas seemed to have such poor finishing, with wood shavings flaking off the ends, brackets misaligned, crappy audio speakers, and many wood panels insufficiently sanded. So then we started looking at saunas by High Tech Health, Radiant Health, and Clearlight — the three highest-quality sauna brands in the US right now — and that’s how we realized we’d need to spend closer to $3000-4000 to get something that was decent quality. (Some quick googling will bring you to a professional blogger’s site where he reviews tons of actual saunas, with video and commentary. JNH is cheap for a reason and does not fare well in his reviews.)We weren’t willing to shell out thousands of dollars for a sauna just yet, so I opted for this personal/portable one here on Amazon instead. I honestly don’t know if we will ever buy a “real” sauna now because I love this thing so much.* Update, September 2019, four months later *Still using this sauna 3-5 times per week and loving it. No complaints. Gets hot super fast; I work up a good sweat in ~20 minutes.

Aahhh...feels soooo good!
This review is after only 1 use. I will try to update it after I've used it 10 times or so or sooner if needed. I bought this for it's restorative properties on my joints, skin, muscles etc... I did not buy this as a weight-loss product but will pay attention to my overall well-being after regular use. I have used a FAR Infrared sauna in a spa a few times and loved it. After one use, this came pretty close to that experience. I did a lot of research before choosing this one.Within 10 minutes of receiving the package, it was set-up and turned on! Ten minutes after turning it on, I got in and felt an immediate warmth...aaahhhh...it felt so good! Within 5 minutes my skin was dewey and 5 more minutes I was full on sweating. I stayed in for about 35 minutes but could have easily stayed in longer. By the time I was done, there was a pool of sweat on the floor of the sauna and in the seat of the chair. I thought about putting a towel inside the sauna but thought that might diminish the reflective properties. Here are lessons learned:1. Put a towel around your neck outside of the sauna to keep the warmth in.2. Once inside, it took me a little moving around to find the right spot for the chair where my knees weren't touching the front or my posture wasn't slouchy or my back was touching the back heater (ouch). It's good to figure this out before you turn it on.3. I found that if I let my arms hang to my side, I could feel a deeper warmth from the side heaters.4. I'm going to test out different things to sit on. The chair was fine and the back-rest was comfortable but I really want more direct heat on my lower back.5. I like to meditate and am not claustrophobic so I'm going to try sitting on the floor completely inside and with the neck hole covered.6. I was nude except for underwear and assume that provides the best results but am curious about wearing dry fit, tight, workout wear. I wonder if it diminishes the benefits of the infrared properties. I feel it would elevate my body temperature but not sure how deeply the infrared rays can penetrate.Overall, I'm so happy with this purchase and can't believe I waited this long to get one.It was equally easy to unpack from the box and then fold up and put away when I was done. I feel that the price is amazing for the quality of my experience so far and look forward to using it 5-7 days a week.

Love it!
Wasn't sure what to expect, having never used an infrared sauna before. Bought this one after reading reviews, when it was on sale. It works great! I use it 4-5 times a week.Pros: It is lightweight, easy to move around. Retains heat well. Love the arm openings. Control is simple, easy to use. Easy to wipe down. Foot heating pad helps you warm up faster.Cons: The chair, as others have stated, isn't terribly comfortable, but unless the whole thing was much larger (and likely less efficient) there isn't room for anything bigger. Unless you are short, maybe? I'm 5'11", and there is very little wiggle room, but it's not a big deal.Tips: Some reviews stated it takes too long to start sweating. I have found that turning it on to preheat and then doing something to start warming myself up is the key. Stationary bike for a few minutes, or even just a brisk walk.I would also recommend wrapping a small towel around your neck to catch the sweat to help avoid sweat stains.Very happy with this purchase, highly recommend it!

Easy set up
I’m really surprised by this portable sauna. I’ve wanted one for a very long time, but I always worried it would be junk. This one was a great price and I am pleased with my purchase. It gets nice and hot, and I feel great after I use it. The chair isn’t terribly comfortable, but I guess I kind of expected that given the size of the unit. Overall, I would recommend if you’re in the market for an infrared sauna.

Amazing health benefits!
I can't say anything about the long term product quality but the value is great. I did buy this unit on sale and can honestly say that even if it wasn't on sale, it would still be worth it.The best way to use this product is at max heat for the 30 minutes and then take a cold shower. Deep breaths in the shower will help you handle (and take your mind off of) the cold water. Do your research on the Wim Hof method. The benefits are firmer skin (the heat stimulates collagen production) and reduced acne. The heat stimulates blood flow to the surface of the skin and that helps the immune system reach the skin. The only thing that would top this product for skin issues would be a UV lamp, but they are still different tools for different jobs.

Works well
I bought this about a month ago. I have been liking it so far. Easy to set up. It does take up some space. I prefer to leave it set up instead of folding it up every time. It gets to 150 pretty quick. Essentially nothing needs to be clean because it doesn't get wet inside unless you sweat a lot. The little chair is not the most comfortable chair.

Great little portable sauna!
I would recommend preheating the unit at 150 degrees for 15 minutes prior to use. I chose not to use the foot warmer as I think the unit gets hotter if it isn't used. The chair is quite small and uncomfortable so I folded a few old towels, placed them on the seat and have no problems plus they absorb the sweat. You do sweat! If you place a towel around the neck hole when in the unit and don't open the arm holes it gets very hot and after 30 minutes I'm dripping with sweat. I would have given it five stars if the chair was comfortable and the unit was a bit bigger (I'm 5'8" and my knees touch the front when seated)

Amazing Product
This thing is amazing! The sweat is dripping off me after I set it for 150 F and after having a nice hot shower. If you want to maximize your sweat, have a hot shower first and drink a glass of water soon after. I'm 6 ft tall and it's more comfortable to just sit on the floor instead of using the chair...it feels just like a real sauna, minus the smell and lack of hygiene. I was going to buy a larger wooden sauna for a few thousand dollars but this is just as good for the sweat effect.

Sauna Review
Bought this, works as described. If you are a bigger individual you might have issues fitting into it. Also the head hole is at such an angle that I am forced to sit kind of forward in the chair. Not as comfortable for long sauna sessions.
