Very disappointed with this battery. Only been fully charged 13 times and already the capacity has fallen from 97% down to 59%.I understand very well its an old computer, but I did think it’d last longer. £43 is a heck of a lot of money for something that was Manufactured in 2011, so after 13 years the battery has degraded to the point its not fit for purpose. Avoid!

Finally a good battery replacement. I have a late 2009 MacBook pro and every battery replacement I purchased has been just garbage. Max battery life would be 2 1/2 hrs fully charged. I had issues with the laptop shutting down even when battery showed 30 percent left. It would over heat and loose charge way too fast. I decided to try replacing the battery one more time and I'm glad I did. This battery came with the screw drivers needed and is super easy to replace. So far this battery is awesome. Fully charged 4 1/2 hrs and it holds charge great. (I know it's not the same as the 12 hrs of my new MacBook pro but for a 14 year old laptop that's pretty awesome.) Its been about 3 weeks of heavy use to test. Hopefully it lasts.🤞🤞

Not sure yet. This is the second one. The first one was amazing and the service was first rate. But it only lasted a couple of weeks. I believe that the problem was not the battery, but the Laptop. The Laptop is an Apple MacBook Pro, manufactured in late 2013. It is thought that Apple has installed something on the laptop that will detect a non-Apple battery and shut it down. So far the second battery is accepting the charge and looks okay. If it fails, it's not the battery. It's corporate protection. The battery comes well protected and includes the screwdrivers that you need to complete the change.

I bought this a few months ago and installed 2 weeks ago.Pro's: arrived on time; easy to installCon's: battery charge not as long as original, and then after 2 weeks completely stopped charging.Summary: best to go to Apple store for replacement

i'm not sure if this is a genuine battery for my macbook but at least i don't need to fork 400$ to appleso they can replace an aging battery that cost no more 95$ tax included. i get to keep my investement a couple years more and don't have to pay crazy money for another machine that won't perform any better for my needs.

I was a little hesitant at first because I’ve never changed a laptop battery before.I definitely watched YouTube videos before doing the installation which was a little over-the-top looking back on it now.The installation took less than five minutes everything you need to install. The battery comes with the new battery pack purchase, including the screwdriver to remove those little screws on the laptop.My laptop definitely last all day now. Thanks to this new battery. I’m very thankful because I thought I would have to buy a new laptop so this definitely re-energized my old laptop.
