EM Fundamentals The Essential Handbook for Emergency Medicine Residents

Handy little guide
The EMRA books are super-useful for your AI and if definitely recommend buying them to improve your knowledge and your differentials. They’re also useful for third year students too. And it conveniently fits in your pocket (as opposed to some books that “fit” but are actually uncomfortably too big). Aside: I’d also recommend picking up pocket emergency medicine

Good reference
one of the best references I bought in a while. I have a few other pocket guides but they are dense and not rapidly accessible when I am busy. Worth. Doesn't cover everything so if your fund of knowledge is weak not the best for you. Great for augmentation and recall.

This book is great to summarize key points of common ER presentations!
Great resource! Very simplified but still thorough. Would recommend!I am a PA student and this has been very helpful throughout my rotation. I have been using it as reference while working and to study for my EOR exam.

Helpful resource esp if off-service
Got this book as a quick reference while on my ED rotation as a family medicine resident. It's great so far - covers a lot of common things seen in the ED and has information regarding symptoms, differentials, management, etc. Highly recommend it. I plan to purchase more EMRA books!

Great for PA's
Fantastic even for PA's. I used it during my Emergency Medicine rotations in school and it was extremely helpful. Easy to read. Now I am a EM PA-C and I still use this book everyday for reference,
