Love the learning style
For years I've said test my knowledge then tell me why I got it wrong. Well, Ann J. Brorsen put it to paper! I love it. Studying is never fun, but this fashion is enjoyable.

Publishers should have proofread better
Good info but be careful -many errors. The TCRN is a relatively new exam and I get the impression that some prep books are being rushed to get out there first

Look elsewhere first
The target audience for this book seems to be Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants wishing to specialize in ED practice. The scope of the book seems to be general ED patient care rather than focusing on trauma care. The depth and detail of many of the questions are far beyond the other TCRN reviews that I have completed. And, as another reviewer commented, too many of the answers to the practice questions in the review are incorrect. There are several other Kindle based reviews offered by Amazon for roughly $10 that are a far better value.5/9/18I passed the TCRN exam and I stand by my review of this text. The materials that I found most helpful and relevant to the questions on the actual exam were those that I obtained from The Society of Trauma Nurses and Jeff Solheim's TCRN review. As indicated above, the inexpensive Kindle TCRN reviews are a good value in that they have hundreds of relevant questions and answers that you can review whenever you have a break at work, on the bus, or working out.

Disappointed
I bought this book at the new price, yet received a used book with tests taken and notes written in it😡
L**.
not a great source of information, inaccurate information,
not a great source of information, TCAR and Jeff Solheim material is much better, a lot of information on here is base on name which will not be on the test, test would never ask you to name a fracture or a procedure. a fair amount of inaccurate information, and the information is dated. From the information you can tell what type of nurse is the author. those that can't do T_ _ _ _

This book needs edited!
A ton of errors! I had to double check almost every answer to clarify. Do not recommend!

Do not waste your money
Tons of typing errors and wrong answers. It's expensive for it's content. I had to verify the answers from trusted references and kept finding mistakes.
