I have an old Mountfield HP414 with the RS100 engined and this Carb was a direct replacement for the one which failed 3 presses on the priming bulb and it's running on the first pull going to get a spare one to keep incase of an emergency

The item came in good time. The Carb was put on and the mower is going again.

This fitted and worked perfectly. Would have been 5 star but one of the gaskets was wrong shape so had to use the one off the old carb. Other than that works well.

Got this to repair our mower. Should have fitted, the model was in the list, but fittings all in the wrong place. Hit and miss as other buyers have noted here.

My trusty 15 year old Mountfield SP100 was 'hunting' for fuel. Revs were up and down and cutting out. I couldn't be bothered with cleaning the carburettor and changing all of the seals, so opted for a new one. Took a chance on a £15 Amazon special and I'm not disappointed. Easy to replace in about 10-15 minutes after watching a couple of YT videos and cut the damp lawn in no time.Ordered separately, I'm now waiting for a new blade so hopefully I won't have to buy a new lawnmower for a few years.Only one cut so far but will report back if it doesn't last as expected.

My mower was constantly hunting. The carb was spotlessly clean, as was the fuel. I even tried a fuel additive. Still the same. Tried this carb and the problem was instantly fixed. The mower is now running like new. Simple to fit in under ten minutes.
