I’m using this for sourdough bread and first try with it I got a perfectly cooked bottom that wasn’t burnt.

Made a pot roast in no time at all

First of all this Dutch Over came beautiful packaged, it was wrapped completely in foam to absolutely insure there would be no damage in shipping. The lid was surrounded in cardboard so it could not contact the pot and cause chipping or other damage.Upon removing the Dutch Oven and lid I was immediately impressed with the beauty and flawlessness of the enamel finish. The handles are large and easy to use, everything about the appearance and condition of the set was great.I've now used it to cook on my stove, in my oven, and on an induction heating plate and it worked well on all. The heat distribution was excellent and the food was delicious. The cleanup was easy as well.This product arrives with a set of very useful instructions and pointers that is well written by an obviouly native english speaking individual.I also have a 7½ qt Le Cruset Dutch Oven and in the short run this one seems to hold it's own against it. I know Le Cruset items are supposed to last forever, and at this point I can't vouch for this one in the same way. However for such a great price this one is really a bargain and in my hands I can't tell much difference in the performance of either oven. I would thus highly recommend this Dutch Oven to you, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

This is a great dutch oven. I have been wanting one for a long time and have been torn between a super pricy one and a budget one. I finally broke down and got a more budget friendly one, this one, and it is great. There are a few small imperfections in the rim, a product of the casting (it happens, not a negative just a fact). The ceramic works great as a non stick ish surface. not a smooth as teflon, but it is not meant to be. This is a great cooker and I have pretty much replaced all of my pans with this one.

The cast iron pot is beautiful glazed and is a good value for the money as it appears expensive. 6Qt- should work for most family sizes. Enameled Cast iron usually is very sturdy, easy to clean, and this appears to be quality made. It is heavy but I want it that way as it needs to hold up to heavy use. Hoping to use it soon as I think it will work well for family get-togethers/parties. Looking forward to gumbo or chili nights!
