I was not to keen on this item before use but it was a gem in the rough. Now I try to hang at every opportunity. Straps are strong and have been left up in the sun for a year with little fading. It also said it was a double hammock able to support 2 people which is not the case. For one person this could work but not for 2 by any means. I contacted them and they sent me a new one. I am glad they have good customer service to correct errors.
