We have a little girl with Down Syndrome who is short in stature for almost being 7 and weights right around 60 pounds. It is hard to find things that fix really well. This coat does. We order the 6 and it has and elastic around the bottom that has good stretch. So it covers her bottom well. Of course sleeves are still a little long but I will never not have that issue. Even though it feels thinner, it is warm and cozy.
