I purchased this product a few months ago, by mid November. It was easy to install, and the cameras have been working perfectly. The video quality is great, and the night vision is excellent. I had issues with the battery draining too fast in one of the cameras, but it was solved by adjusting the solar panel to capture more sunlight. On rainy or cloudy days they still charge although it’s a bit slower, but nothing to worry about. The Wi-Fi signal capability is very good also, one of the cameras is far from the router and I was surprised that it got the signal pretty good (one bar though, but enough to work perfectly). I had another issue with one of the cameras that the battery drained suddenly during the night even though there were no unusual events that night. It was solved after unmounting and charging the camera with the provided USB cable for a few hours. After that lone incident it continued to work perfectly. Customer service is excellent, they answered really fast and helped me with hints on how to solve my issue. So, I’m happy over all with the product and the service.

I wanted to replace my old unreliable security camera system and came across the Aosu brand. I initially purchased the four camera setup to see how well they worked. I have been very pleased with these solar cameras especially with the variety of setup options you get. They are super easy to install and get going and I finally get clear, realtime alerts. Both nighttime and daytime picture quality is good. I did have an issue with one of the cameras that stopped charging completely. I called Aosu customer service and they went through the troubleshooting process with me but the camera still wouldn't charge. Long story short, they quickly sent me a new replacement camera which I think says a lot about good customer service. I now have six of their cameras.

Picture quality is ok but I guess I was expecting more , especially zoom in function without loss of quality. But good as a starter security camera set. Affordable and does the job

I give 5 stars for overall product and support/ customer service, 3 stars for mounting. Bought the wide angle 2 cam set due to my small space. I tried various locations to get suitable wifi signal and coverage. So far things look good. The only issue I had was both cameras right out ot the box only showed 58% battery. Which was not a big deal. 1 charged ok on solar. The other one never got above 58%. It started loosing capacity. So I charged it in the house and put back out. So far 3 days and it is staying charged. Setup was vary easy. Picture quality is really good. Had to play with zone settings to get more coverage.. All in all pretty good for the price and I like the home base storage I give 3 stars for lack of mounting possibilities. I have found that it has to be on a vertical surface for best camera angle placement/adjustment. The mount that comes with the camera does not allow for universal situations. Mounting on the underside of the soffit is not the best solution. Especially if your house has gutters. 11-22-25 rcvd a replacement camera due to battery and solar panel issue. I gave 5 stars for Customer support and tech support is great.

I purchased this system about a year ago and it was easy to install and functioned very well. Recently, one of the cameras started a connection issue and was not receiving a charge from the solar panel, (or the included USB charging kit). I contacted the support team for advice and they were very responsive. They replied to emails almost immediately and stayed with me until the issue was fully resolved. They ended up sending a replacement system, at no charge. Everyone on the team, that I connected with was extremely helpful and identified with my problem. I am very impressed with their customer service and the results they produced. Thank you to all of you at Aosu Support!

Cameras work well. Stay charged up with minimal sun per day. Resolution is reasonable at 20’. But beyond that faces and license plates are unreadable. Easy to set up. Alerts work as described. And app is easy to manage. Overall they are still working good after 5 months, but don’t expect high res video for identifying faces or tags.

Works really well after an easy and hassle free install

The AOSU 5MP/3K Solar Security Camera is easy to set up and the video quality is great. The solar panel is a big plus because it keeps the camera powered without needing to constantly charge it. The best feature for me is the free storage and no monthly subscription. Definitely a solid choice for home security and you’re able to see the live feed quickly.

I have used this system for a few months now and overall am happy with it. Some of the features that were important to us that function well: -locally stored security footage, so you don't need to subscribe to a cloud system -long range from the home base to the cameras (mine are mounted on a workshop 100+ ft from the house) -solar power to avoid the need to climb up and take cameras down to charge (so far, battery has remained fully charged with no issues) -high quality image and good night vision image The app is decent as well, but I think there are some features/settings that would make it more functional, such as auto scheduling snooze times/no notifications from movement (rather then having to manually snooze when needed) also better settings for differentiation between human movement and trees etc. Our property is quite windy, so the cameras often get triggered by this. As for longevity and weather resistance, I will update once I've had them longer, and used them over a Canadian winter.
