This book has it all. So many pictures and descriptions of fish. You will get descriptions of fish that are in swamps, rivers and more. A good reference for beginners and anyone wanting to identify fish. If you want really in depth information on just one fish, this book is not for you, It is however perfect for all of the fish lovers in your life.

Nice book!
Really nice book!! Too bad I had to return it for a replacement because some dufus packaged it with a jar of fish food that broke and ruined the book.

Surprising amount of coverage on aquatic life
This book has it all. Crustaceans,mollusks,mammals,reptiles,amphibians,you name it! Also,if you're a fan of Jeremy Wade's "River Monsters" this book should be especially valuable to you,as it's one of the only books I know of that features an entry on the terrifying goliath tigerfish.

My son loves fish and I was looking for a long time for a boom for him. This one hit the point. It has beautiful illustrations and my reading-shy kid keeps going back to it. Success!

Amazing book
Spend a lot of time fishing and spearfishing and this is just a goldmine. Can spend hours skimming through it and learning new information. Remember having similar one as a kid.
