Convenient carplay adapter
For me it's important to have access to different music playlists, audiobooks, podcasts and navigation while I'm driving because I am on the go for many hours every day. This device allows me to convert my existing carplay which is wired into a wireless setup so I don't have to deal with cables every time I get in the car.I like the fact that setting up this device requires just plugging into the USB port and connecting it with my phone with no other complicated installation needed. The connection itself is stable and I didn't notice any lag while using maps or streaming music. It connected straight away with my phone so I did not have any issues and i'm also using it with my work card and my personal car and each time worked perfectly.I like the fact that it does not take a lot of time to set up and neither space which is a convenient addition to my everyday driving.

Very easy to use
This wireless CarPlay adapter is exactly what I needed to improve my driving experience. This adapter converts my car’s wired CarPlay and Android Auto into a wireless setup, and it works seamlessly. It is so easy to use. All I had to do was put the USB cable into my USB port and it connected to my phone almost instantly. The adapter is quite small in size so doesn’t take up much space. It fits neatly in the console area without any messy cables.I am very pleased with this carplay adapter as it has made it so much easier to access navigation, music, and calls without having to plug my phone in every time I get in the car. Highly recommend!

It works well for a single device
Installation was simple as was connecting it to my phone. I also connected a second phone and that became problematic for subsequent connections. To overcome the connectivity issue when both phones were in the car, we had to disable Bluetooth on one of the phones and restart the car. This quickly became frustrating. That said, it works just fine for a one phone installation.

If you have wired Android Auto or Apple Carplay, you need this
The media could not be loaded. If you have a fairly recent car that supports Android Auto and/or Apple Carplay, but only have a wired USB connection requiring you to plug in and unplug your phone every time you want to use those apps, you know how it is: you love the convenience and interface offered by those apps for navigation, music, etc, but you hate having to plug and unplug your phone every time. Well fear not: with this slick little device, you never have to worry about that hassle again.I tested this device over a three-day period on my 2016 Hyundai Sonata (supports both Android Auto, which is my go to since I own a Samsung, as well as Apple Carplay which the other drivers in the house use). Installing the device is as simple as grabbing the appropriate included USB cable (either USB-C to USB-A, if your car uses the old style A; or USB-C to USB-C if your car has the newer C port), and plugging the adapter into your data port. Then all you do is connect your phone via Bluetooth, it'll be called "AutoKit-0xx" where the xx is dependent on your particular device. That's it! After that, your car will recognize your phone as if it were plugged in directly and voila - Android Auto (or Apple Carplay - I did test that feature with an iPhone and it worked fine as well, though my multi-day test was using my Samsung running Android Auto). So how did the device perform? Magnificently, I must say. I have another, similar device which often takes a little longer (30 sec+) to handshake and connect, but with this device, the initial connection and subsequent connections, say if you stop the car, grab a slurpee, and get back in, are all lightning quick, <10 seconds in my experience with the Hyundai, of course your mileage may vary. The only quirk I sometimes noticed, and it might be the Hyundai, is occasionally on those reconnects the car would report that music was playing but nothing was heard. The easy fix I found, was to hit the Radio button, and then hit the Media button, which forces the car to switch sources, that seems to work every time. Slightly annoying but not a consistent problem and nothing to complain about. One quirk which one might find to be an odd design choice is the logo "AutoBox" on the device, it glows red when not connected, blinks blue as it starts connecting, and then turns a blue-green once connected. After that it will pulse colors, kind of a blue/green shade, to indicate a positive connection. The initial color coding makes sense but you might find it a bit annoying to see the logo continue to pulse while connected; it's kind of an odd UI decision and personally I'm not a fan but doesn't affect performance at all.In short, this device is a snappy, small form factor, wireless device, and if you want to enjoy Android Auto or Apple Carplay without cables, you need not look any further.Photos: outer box (non-descript label, "wireless USB adapter"), device with ruler (measures about 3" length), with the included cables.
