My 2 kids 10 and 7 love it they have played with it so many times great game for the family aswell

As an adult I'm enjoyingit, as it's the exact same as the one I received from Santa as a 6 year old. Also I liked that you get everything you need, so the kids can build and then play with it straight out of the package.As for ages it's intended for I can advice that our 14 year old became bored with this set soon after completing construction, whilst it's still popular with the 11 year old

So much fun with Football Champions!Purchased for my14 year old nephew and hi loved it. We opened the box and 70 minutes later-Ole Ole Ole Ole -England is the new Champion!He beat my Netherlands team in the semi final with penalties.Great joy and it is also educational with so many interesting facts about futball!5 ot 5 stars

We are a football-mad family and We love to play board games, we are always looking for new ones. When I saw this Football themed game I decided to order it. Playing solo or in a group is a lot of fun! When I opened this game up I was struck by the quality of the board, pieces and instructions etc.The game comes in a shrink-wrapped, medium/small board game box for storage. Inside the box, you have all the different components including the board, some cards, and a squishy football amongst a few other things. Once you get the wrapping off the card packs and separate them the rest of the unboxing is a breeze. Scoresheets are limited but you can scan one and print them out as needed.It's not a quick game to play but very enjoyable for all of the family, younger members might get bored after a while.I would recommend this game.

Really well made game. The board is like a board from the 1980s and not like the cheap rubbish one usually gets from today's manufacturers wherever they may be. It's a fun game and is trivia based so you have to be a football enthusiast to do well but, let us face it, it is not too hard to find people are who are into football. The game can go on for quite a time as you have to play through stages like you are in a tournament - so you have to set aside some time for it. Perfect for 8 and up - I guess the people playing will have to have had some time to build some knowledge of football - which is why I keep kicking everybody's behind on it - but it's fun and I recommend it highly.

The manufacturer age recommendation for this listing is age 7 - 20, so I thought this was a great game to introduce to my nearly 7-year-old. Unfortunately, it's too mature for her, and reading the age recommendation on the actual box, this is understandable as it's actually designed for ages 14 and upwards!

I opened this game up and was immediately struck by the quality of the board, pieces and instructions etc.The cards, the goal, the trophy, the balls the cardboard playing pieces are all of excellent quality.The game is loosely based on the last world cup with all the group tables and teams that are the same.The gameplay involves football trivia questions, winning the group stage and progressing through the various rounds.First time you play you need to set aside a couple of hours to see the whole game through or its the type of game that you can play over a couple of days to make it last which I found it was the best option with my daughter to save any tedium setting in.You can play penalties, make management decisions and can get fully involved in football gameplay, a great board game for any football fan!

Like Marmite, you'll either love it or hate it...This games is based on a standard football tournament, with playoffs that proceed to 'knock-out' stages. It definitely requires an above average understanding and knowledge of football as a sport, drawing on technical and general knowledge to progress around the board and win. There are 3 sets of questions, 2 of which are multiple choice. The trivia questions aren't always clearly stated and very nebulous, but the real crime here is they don't have the intended correct answers. So, in the hands of die-hard football fans while this game will brings hours of fun and entertainment, it also has the potential for causing a 'riot' over the correct answers.
