BeadSmith Magical Rhinestone Pick Up Tool with Clean Kit

This is truly the best bead and gem picker upper ever. I have hardly had to use the cleaning tool that comes with it because the stickiness last a really long time. I have had this for about 6 months now and only used the cleaning tool once because I accidentially got nail polish on it. Worked again immediately and worked like new. It easily places the bead or gem down on your nail bed without any trouble at all. I recommend this to anyone who wants to be creative with their manicures.

i love these.. at first when it stopped working i didnt know how to make it come live again, i was mad but i googled around and figured out and w few practice and now that i know what to do when it stops working i am in love w this thing!! i dont like the thought of using pencils i dont want to deal with residue. this works great!!

This is one of the two best diamond art tools I have found anywhere. The problem is the weakest part of the tool is the exact part that bears the most stress over time. I don’t understand what they were thinking when designing this. I’ve had many and long before the sticky tip gives up its ghost they all eventually snap off at this exact spot. No glue is ever strong enough once it’s broken either. If this was fixed and they made this part metal or thickened the plastic than it would be perfect. The other excellent pick tool is called “Jewel Picker” by Marvy. Wax and sticky tack tools are junk. Fix the design Magical Pick!!!!!

Love this product so far. I have tried the beeswax style pick-ups and they leave wax on the stones that requires some effort to clean up. This works very well, no wax residue left and so much easier to see where the stone is to be placed with the small tip as opposed to the larger wax tips! Perfection!

great idea. was so hopeful! worked great the first time...then........it didn't. who really has the time in a busy nail salon to rub it on the block to reinstate the stickiness? it still didn't seem to remedy the sit.

Did a great job of picking up stones that I used to make accessories. Very easy to hold and grip. Placing of stones were easy to manage and tips last for a long time.

I want to give this product 5 stars. The first one I ordered worked great for a couple hours but then it would not pick up the gems. I noticed that the tip of the little sticky white stuff on the end was gone. I tried pulling the rest of the sticky white stuff up to cover the little metal tip that was now exposed but to no avail. I decided I had beared down to hard and broken it so ordered another. The exact same thing happened to this one. It is a great concept but doesn't quite work. See my picture of both below.I hope they will improve upon it because I love it. I would also like the handle part to be a little larger around for comfort. If you can make that I will be a customer for life!

You know, this does pick up the rhinestones, so I gave it 3 stars because technically it does what it claims it can do...but if you try to then apply glue to the rhinestone, or even touch it to glue (ever so lightly) it immediately falls off. You have to put the glue down on the other surface you intend to attach it to, and then place your rhinestones. This sounds very simple, but in reality it's a freakin pain, and messier, and has a larger margin for error, at least in my experience. Maybe I need to manage my expectations, but I really don't see how this is useful; a cheap pair of tweezers would accomplish the same exact thing and allow you to apply glue to the rhinestone!

It doesn't do what it is supposed to do. I will not pick up items. Still have to apply stones by hand.
