This barcode scanner is exactly what I needed for my business. Works well for tracking inventory and makes it easier for employees or family members to assist in packing customers orders to get them ready to ship. It was a good value. I haven't contacted the support phone number or email. Hardest part was setting up my own SKU system for my business within my own business, after that using the scanner is easy as pie.

I was looking for a barcode scanner that specifically had the date and time prefix/suffix which saves me loads of time and allows me to find the exact point on security camera that something was received. It's easy to set up, has lots of settings and features, scans quickly and easily and the charging cradle is convenient to have a proper place to not only put it down in between use but also recharge it. Overall this is value for money so far

This is not my first barcode scanner. I have used both cheap and expensive units, both to be able to easily catalog devices and inventory while working remotely as well as for inventory audits in the office. I like this one too much to use it while mobile. This is going to be the new primary for office use.They have done both things that most people are looking for. Not only is the unit easy to use out of the box with almost no changes, if you do want to change settings or use it for custom scanning you can set just about any change up in no time.They include manuals in both English and Spanish. Within each manual is a standard series of codes you can scan to get information, change settings, and reset to defaults. This will work with any inventory system and software I can even think of, and even some that are not explicitly listed in the manual worked flawlessly. And best of all, if you need to change formats because of a foreign language operation or a program that uses a different format, they have the scan codes for those things too!The base connects to your computer using a standard USB A port, with a USB B port in the bottom of the base. There are some feet on the bottom but it will slide a bit if you push it, as the base is very light. The unit comes in a variety of trim colors, but to me the looks matter less than the performance. The performance has been amazing from the start. Just connecting the base, the unit sent the data wirelessly without error. And I tested out a few basic settings changes with the codes in the manual. Everything works like a charm.They almost undersell the capabilities a bit. This is not just for 2D barcodes. You can scan 3D barcodes and UPC codes with no problem. It reads extremely quickly with seeming 100% accuracy. While the high accuracy is not new compared to other units I have used, the speed of the scans is definitely an advantage over the competition. No need to move the scanner closer and further away to get good readings. It seems to have a super wide range of focus so that scans just work without thinking about my scanning distance too much.CONCLUSIONThis unit just has everything I could have hoped for: great performance, super fact scans, high accuracy, easy changes to any format or language under the sun. I am not easy to please and I am very happy with this so far.

I have a very large comic book collection that is managed through an application called ComicBase that supports barcode scanning. Simply put, if you have a barcode scanner you can quickly add, delete, or modify your collection simply by scanning the bar code on the comic book. Brilliant! The only challenge is that a barcode scanner used for this purpose is not going to work right out of the box. You'll need the manual as each parameter is able to be set by simply scanning the bar code to turn features on and off. The way I did this was to use Comicbase's guide to setup their scanners and translated that to the manual that was included with this scanner. As a shortcut, here are the settings you need to change to get going with Comicbase:1. Scan the Bluetooth HID barcode to enable it as the communication modality. Essentially you are going to pair the scanner to the computer that runs Comicbase.2. Scan the Bluetooth HID pairing mode and enable pairing on your computer. The manual should show you the default name but when you go into Windows and the settings for Bluetooth and other Devices you will want to add a device. You should see Barcode Scanner or something very similar when your computer scans for Bluetooth devices.3. After pairing you now need to enable the settings that work with comic book bar codes. Using the manual, find the settings to turn on the following:3a. Enable 2-digit supplementals (EAN-13)3b. Enable 5-digit supplementals (EAN-13)3c. Enable starting and terminating CODABAR characters3d. Prevent extra spaces before supplemental3e. Enable CODABARThat's it! You are now able to use the barcode field in Comicbase to find, add, edit comics! Overall, I like the scanner and deducted one star because the manual is not very easy to follow and not all the parameters are very well described -- especially wifi setup. I'm using Bluetooth so not a big deal but worth mentioning.

This bar code scanner does so much more than what we needed. I work for a publisher and we needed a scanner to be able to check that bar codes on advance books that come from the printer are scanning properly. This scanner does that, but wow. You can save stuff on the scanner itself and download to the computer all at once, you can connect it directly to the computer wirelessly through bluetooth to scan into apps, it scans 1D/2D/3D bar codes, UPC codes, QR codes - all the codes! It scans bar codes on any color background, even if it's on a glossy book. You can set the brightness of the screen on the scanner to pretty much whatever you want. There are multiple choices for language on the scanner. There are so many options, I know I'm not even listing them all because we won't use them, but they are there for anyone else who needs them. I think they've thought of everything!It's fast. It's accurate. It sits on its cradle and charges, or you can connect it with a cable to the plug, but the battery lasts a full day under heavy use and several days for light use, so I doubt you'll ever run out of charge. The setup is super intuitive, but they include an instruction manual (in multiple languages) that's very helpful for any questions you might have. I'm super impressed and feel a little guilty having such a fancy scanner for the simple needs of my company. At this price, it's easy to see even small businesses would be able to afford it easily for inventory or checkout or so many other things. I highly recommend!
