FOOTMATTERS No Tie Flat Stretch Shoe Laces - Elastic Laces 30 in (76 cm) – Black - 3 Pairs

Have you ever been in a very, very big rush and noticed that that's when everything gets stupid on you? I was told that when the French Dictator Napoleon Bonaparte was getting Dressed in all of his Accoutraments, he used to tell his Servants, "Dress Me Slowly, I'm In A Hurry". Sounds strange right? Whenever you are in a hurry, you always overlook something and things always invariably go awry. It just never fails. I guess the Company that manufactures "FootMatters Elastic Stretch Flat Shoelaces" know about these things. I bought these and I have to say, THEY ARE FANTASTIC! They look dressy and allow you to throw on your shoes within seconds. You absolutely cannot tell they are Elastic or special in any way. They look perfecty as normal as any Shoe Lace. Forget about the extra time required for tying your shoes on, no longer necessary. They seem to make me feel like I'm wearing a comfortable pair of my House Slipper Shoes even though they are actually my Office Dress Shoes. That's because they aren't meant to be tied on tightly. What an unbelievably smart idea. The initial adjustment is a very simple one time process. You just place your shoe on, then lace your shoe without pulling tightly on the Elastic Shoe Laces. You will want them to have some stretch. This will allow you to place your foot in and out of your shoes and still have a comfortable slipper feel but still feel secure on your feel. I swear, if you dare to try these, the only two things you are going to be extremely disappointed about will be that you didn't know about them sooner. The second will be that you didn't buy more when you placed your first order. I only give high ratings on Products that have earned it. I don't appreciate being taken for a ride, (which I have been on numerous occassions), nor do I like to Drive others for the Trip either. My Dress shoes have a standard 4 Eyelets and these Elastic Shoe Laces fit them perfectly. Since they stretch, they also may work with shoes that have an Eyelet or two more. By the way, you get 3 sets for three pairs of shoes...WOW. Not hatin' their Multiple Product Packaging Deal here. So, if your always Dressing in a hurry, like me and that French guy, you at least wont have to worry about forgetting to quickly tie up those shoes anymore. Now, if you could just remember to put on your pants too. In my opinion, a clear "No Brainer" winner at 5 out of 5 Stars

I bought these for my young son who hasn't yet learned to tie his shoe laces and his preschool doesn't want them wearing lace up shoes until they know how to tie them. The stretchy laces essentially turned his lace up shoes into slip ons. I bought these laces along with some lace lock things and its worked out perfectly. The laces came three to a package and after quite a bit of searching, this was the best deal I could find. I'm pleased with them.

These work great for anyone who has problems bending over for any reason. They also work great for anyone who just doesn't like to tie shoes. The elastic stretches really well. My husband stood with his shoes on while I tied them firmly but not tightly for him so they would fit his foot the way they would as he walks so he finds them comfortable. He has one pair of shoes that they don't work well on, we think because they're new, kind of loose to begin with and heavier than his other shoes. The tongue also wants to slide into the shoe as he puts them on. I guess you can't win them all!

30" is too short for the shoes that I wanted to use them for. I would have appreciated an extra 6" or so. Can't comment on the durability yet, sorry.

Absolutely fabulous! I had the 30" elastic shoelaces placed on an older pair of shoes that I slip into occasionally, and because of the elasticity, I don't even have to untie and retie them, plus they give a certain amount of flex that is quite comfortable during routine use. I am now looking for round elastic laces with a longer length for a different pair of shoes. I have recommended the elastic laces to members of the family who I am certain will find them useful as well.

I normally buy shoes with velcro closure since I am overweight and have difficulty reaching my feet. Laces always came untied. Then my feet swelled and the velcro was no longer long enough to work. My solution was these elastic laces. I tie them once (in a knot so they don't come untied) and then sleep my feet in like they were loafers. Great solution.

I am using these for my 10 year old's pants. These work great as a replacement for non-stretchy kids' pants waistband ties. They are better than just using plain elastic because the ends are properly finished, just like a shoelace.

These elastic black laces have made a big difference in my sport shoes. First, they don't come untied every five minutes, which was driving me crazy with the slippery flat laces that came on the shoes. Second, the elastic makes the shoes not only easier to slip on, but they self adjust for better comfort when you have your feet in different positions, i.e., walking, curled up in a chair, etc. They were quite easy to install. With the three pair included, these shoelaces are a little zen for your feet.

Good quality. Good stretch for my shoes; turns them into slip in’s. I don’t feel like my shoe is too loose, nice and snug. Buying again for sure!

I've been experiencing a swelling ankle for the last few weeks where my traditional laces would constrict it if it swelled during the day at work. These puppies allow my shoe to expand to fit, which has been a godsend. Added benefit of turning the shoes into slip on/off
