I like the versatility of this device as a nightlight/charger/speaker. The lights are bright and have a diversity of selection in terms of colors. The device paired seamlessly with my phone and laptop. It was easy to set up and I was able to operate the device without even reading the instruction manual - just a little experimentation, and I was able to understand all the controls. The charger seems to be as effective as plugging directly into a wall charger. My phone charges fairly quickly, and the stand for the phone is stable enough that phone has not fallen off the speaker despite knocking into my nightstand. This speaker provides quite a bit of light at night - in fact, it is so bright, I just turn it off at night otherwise I can see the lights underneath my sleep mask when I'm trying to sleep. The sound quality is better than expected for a speaker of this price. Playing music on this was pretty nice with the sound being fairly audible in the kitchen of my studio apartment despite the speaker being next to my bed. Overall, a solid device with an array of functions that is well worth the price.

I really want to like this speaker. The light settings are awesome. The down side of this speaker is the fact that it will not hold a charge. I have to keep it plugged in. The sound quality is good for the size, the lights are super cool but sadly, I can not use it as a portable speaker as it should be intended.

I ordered this for my teenage granddaughter who is "selective" about the things she Ikes and dislikes. This was a hit for her! The sound is really good. It would be a decent value just for the remote bluetooth speaker function. The lights are very relaxing and can be adjusted to fit your preference in intensity and color mix. The white was almost too bright in the handle for a night light - my only negative observation. But it was still OK and really a preference item. If you like your room very dark at night the may be a consideration.

This item is a great addition the bathroom or kitchen. I decided to move it to my bathroom, as I already have a decent sound-system in the living room by the kitchen.First of all, it has a nice mellow light in a variety of colors. This makes it so that I can still see my way through to the bathroom before I've turned on any lights. The soft lighting is nice if I don't want full lighting - and at night, I really don't. I like it mostly dark.For controls, lighting is adjusted by long presses of each button, whereas speaker volume and function are controlled by short presses of the same button. It takes some getting used to, but once I did, I found out that it was a mostly simple and nifty interface.Pairing my phone was very easy. All I have is a galaxy s9+, and the bluetooth connection and charging worked right away. Sound quality is good. It's crisp and clear, with no distortion unless turned up to max. Even then, it's minimal. That said, don't expect an extremely powerful and dynamic range of sound. It's good enough for one room, and great for distracting me from my own existential worries while showering and handling my morning grooming routine.There's only one problem - It beeps while the phone is charging. So, if I want to listen to music AND charge at the same time, there's an irritating little beep that goes every thirty seconds or so. It's enough to drive me crazy. So, I don't use both features at the same time (maybe I'm not supposed to?). Anyway, I checked the instructions, but saw nothing about this. I checked my phone options, and couldn't find anything there either. Perhaps this is a non-issue for most people - others may like hearing a beep, knowing that it's charging - and on the bright side, it charges pretty quickly too.All in all, this is a good little device - charger, light, and portable stereo all in one, and it's simple to figure out and use.Thanks for reading my review.

This speaker/charger comes with its own power cord and power brick. The cord can also be used in a USB port without the brick.The device has mode buttons for pairing with Bluetooth, as well as cycling through the light options. You can also adjust the brightness of the light through another button on the device.With this device you are able to utilize the Bluetooth technology as you charge the phone. Many similar devices to not allow for this possibility because the unit gets too hot. However, overheating hasn’t been an issue with this device thus far.This is a great gift idea, and I recommend it.

This is by far one of the coolest night lights! I love the changing lights. They are so soothing. My son added his own ambient sounds by connecting through the Bluetooth and playing sounds off of YouTube which is awesome.The soothing lights are one thing but the sound quality that comes out of that speaker is so awesome to be so small. Overall, it's a pretty awesome nightlight! It's definitely worth the money! This would make the perfect gift for any occasion! It is so cool!

My significant other stated that when plugging this device in that orange bolts shot out. And she wasn't able to power it up either. However, when I tried it I did not have any of that happen while I used the device. I did though have the cord plugged into the device first and then plugged the adapter into the wall. Had to hold the power button for several seconds before it finally turned on. It seems to operate normally with bluetooth and even charged up my pixel phone. The adapter for power is rated at three voltages (5, 9 and 12 volts) while the device only calls for 9 volts. Really odd as I don't normally see adapters with multiple power outputs...maybe perhaps could be a cause of the sparks. It has yet to cause any issues here except that one time. The light is almost too bright and the speaker is about meh. Great for a kid as things get broken sometimes. However, I may pause on letting them be alone with it because parent reasons.
