DIfficult to complete install with the bolts provided
I like the design and the look. The railing seems very sturdy and well made. It is perfect for the steps from my garage to the inside hallway. The only catch is that I cannot complete the install without a visit to the local hardware store. As the pictures show the nuts/bolts that secure the top handrail to the support posts (50 cm) are barely long enough to get through to the hole on the other side. No way is the nut going to attachAfter going to the hardware store to get longer bolts; I found that I had to get new bolts and nuts. I found black bolts and silver nuts. Back at home I used the new nuts and bolts to attach the handrail and started to finish the install. Then I noticed that the pointy ends of the bolts for the handrail attachment were facing out; which means I'm likely to encounter them with my fingertips. I turned them around so the pointy parts were facing inward and in the process saw that underneath the bolts the powder coating was worn away by the tightening. This made me think that maybe the gap was smaller now,I swapped the new nuts and bolts for the originals and found that the originals now fit. By the way they were only 45 mm long not 50 mm. I had thought that the missing 5 mm was the issue. Photo #2 shows the original fit of the original handrails nuts and bolt. Photo #4 shows the post install fit and tightening the new ones, removing them and putting the originals back. This hand railing would merit 5 stars if a tightening set of nuts and bolts were included. I spent $3 at the hardware store to get the ones that solved the problem for me.I also recommend fastening everything together loosely at first. Then positioning and tightening a bit more. Then fastening one of the legs in place (2 of 4 fasteners going diagonally). Then adjusting the position and tightening everything. Then fastening the other leg (2 of four fasteners going diagonally) and tightening EVERYTHING ONE MORE TIME. Then finishing the fastening of both legs.

Great product!
Everything you need but the drill is in the package. Holes drilled into concrete and railing up in less than an hour.

A good handrail with some issues.
I installed this at my front door and as can be seen in the photo the first support is on the sidewalk. The handrail is sturdy and their are no obvious fabrication errors. The length of the handrail works well for my stairs. There are a couple of issues with this product. First, two of the bolts are too short. They should be 50 mm long--not 45 mm. This meant a trip to the hardware store. Second, the height of the handrail if installed per the instructions is too high. It is 40" to the ground and that is 2" higher than the maximum recommended distance to the surface below. I cut 6" off of the two uprights to make it more usable for me. The kit includes a couple of useful tools. I did not use the included concrete inserts and drill so I can not comment on how they worked. Overall a decent product but needed to be modified.

Well Designed Except Length of Screws not Correct
This is a good handrail except the length of fixing screws comes in wrong length. Hope that this could be corrected then this is a truly Five Star to me. There are four screws (B3) holding the top rail and the middle connecting pipe (A3) to the two vertical columns (A2). For the top handrail, the instruction shows 50 cm which is a printing error for 50 mm. Actual length comes only 45 mm. It barely goes through the hole about 3 mm into the nut which is not strong or safe. For the middle pipe the instruction shows 30 cm (should be 30mm) but it actually comes in 35 mm. This is OK to install just a little bit too long and a bit awkward. Not a big deal since these four screws are common machine screws but still I think it will be better if corrected. The material and design is very good, strong, sturdy when built, and well finished. Installation is easy. The instruction is very detail, and well printed with color pictures, large enough for clear reading. All the parts and even tools are included, including the Allen key and a long drill for the fixing bolts. I like that there is a bottom cover for the two vertical column, that makes the handrail looks nice and protected.

A hand rail comes in handy sometimes.
I thought it was a piece of cake to assemble.I attached it to a wood deck with the lag bolts going through the top deck board and into the joist and stair stringer. It looks good, but it's not heavy duty or commercial grade. If you yank around on it there is slight movement. It may not meet building code requirements exactly depending on your application and installation.Overall, I think it's a great time saver and would recommend it for those outdoor deck and porch that need a bit of extra safety, but not for the nursing home or kids jungle gym.I Hope My Review And Pictures Were Helpful To You !!

Very well designed / Smooth finishes
Very impressive metal handrail!! I like the design… with minimal parts this makes it easy to assemble. I like that it is lightweight yet sturdy. We will see how long the powder coated carbon steel lasts but I will say that the finish on this railing system is excellent. I even bumped and marred it a few times trying to install it and it still didn’t leave any permanent scratches. It is true that the bolts for the upper railing seem to be a little short as some of the other reviewers have said. I was able to get them attached but they are really close to not being long enough bolts. The company should supply longer bolts. The bolts for the lower rail brace are too long. You can see this in the pictures I provided. Overall I gave this railing system 5 stars because it is well designed and looks great!

Very nice handrail
I have previously bought and installed a handrail similar to this and liked it so much I wanted to get another.Everything is included in the box that you will need to install this handrail except for the power tool. Inside are the instructions, handrail and brackets, screws, lag screws, concrete bolts, concrete drill bit. The concrete bolts and bit are there if you wish to install the handrail on concrete or stone steps. The metal is finished in a very nice matte black finish. This handrail will look great when we get our new steps installed in Spring.
