Way better than baking soda. So I started out with baking soda and it was effective for about a month or two until even the box smelled pretty bad. Buying a small box of baking soda is about 3.00 and it will last you a few months depending on how the food is covered. I've only had the food odor eliminator for a a month now but the smell is still fresh in the fridge. If it indeed does the job and last for ten years you are set. So from my POV 1 tube for 10 years at 10.00 or 2 - 3 baking soda boxes for ten years is 6 x 10 = 60.00. My rating is based on the short time I've had it so far. Location wise I put mine right near the air filter to add some extra protection. (Refer to the picture of it being behind the brita filter.

I initially bought one single item to put in my refrigerator. A month later I noticed that there was no smells in my refrigerator and I have not been using any baking soda anymore, just this deodorizer. I ordered three more, one for an outside refrigerator and one for each of my vehicles. I have dogs I travel in the one vehicle with me a lot, so it smells like DOG. I put one in the car and it helped but not enough. So I put the second one in the dogmobile and it did the trick. I can’t say that it doesn’t smell at all, but I can say that it is completely reasonable now.

These do not work! I replaced A & H fridge and freezer, A & H moisture absorber & odor eliminator (that did work well) with these, thinking I wouldn't have to replace it so often. I deal in vintage clothing that sometimes has that old musty smell, and have a back closet that gets a damp, musty smell when we get a lot of rain. When I used the A & H products they really worked and you could tell the difference, but they have to be replaced every few months. Well, it's worth replacing them. I've used A & H in my fridge for 40 years and it has ALWAYS worked! I replaced it with these and my fridge smells bad, my closet smells damp and musty after heavy rains, and you can smell the vintage clothing as soon as you walk in the door. These are a waste of money and are going in the trash!

Small compact container that doesn’t take up much room in the refrigerator. It made enough of a difference that I ordered two more, so I could put one in the freezer also. I don’t know about lasting ten years, since I just got one, but I am happy for now!

I bought this deodorizer because my fridge had that weird mix of onion, leftovers, and “what is that??” smell—y’all know the one 😅. I’ve tried baking soda and those charcoal bags before, but this one legit made a difference in under 24 hours. The air feels fresher, and even my fruits and veggies seem to last longer. Super sleek design, doesn’t take up much space, and no mess like baking soda spills. Says it lasts 10 years (we’ll see about that lol), but even if it lasts a couple, it’s still worth it. I’ll definitely grab another one for the freezer soon. Highly recommend if your fridge’s been fighting for its life 😩💨
