absolutely sucks, but it works. This is my 3rd product now of this type and the best one so far... The technology behind these kinds of cups is just too early for it to be good yet... problems: 1. doesnt screw close on tightly... have to really crank it down to keep it from spilling, which causes the open button to be out of alignment with the other buttons if u know what i mean? 2. tastes like plastic. Even if the chamber is metal, the lid components are plastic. And that is what your mouth is touching... 3. Takes way too long to boil liquid. 20 Minutes is just not viable for getting off work, brewing caffeine drink and driving home. 4. the way to turn it on is not clear at all.. To get it to activate you have to turn it on, and then hit the power button on again till it turns red. Then its cooking. 5. if you have glasses you have to drink this sorta sideways because the lid hits your lens... Also means the rubber piece that seals against the lid sticks out waaaay too much. As you put the cup down it pulls your glasses off if your not careful. 6. as another reviewer has shown the lid button gets stuck... Almost impossible to open with one hand and sometimes you need a screwdriver to pry it open. You can destructively shave off some of the button's lip to get it to open easier. problem is now it opens up too easily... Can spill by itself if not careful. 7. does not remember previous cooking state. Some cars cut power completely to everything so the starter motor gets all of the batteries power. This means the unit will power-cycle and STOP cooking until you press the power button again... It should turn back on for these very short power outages...

It heats up the water,but it leaks around the cap and moisture builds up on the bottom.

Love it. Buttons take a bit to get sorted. Worth the caution that the thing will hold pressure, 95C will boil at 6000’ UPON OPENING YOU HAVE A STEAM GEYSER!

Funktioniert sehr gut, in kurzer Zeit ist das Wasser auf 85 Cel. . Bin viel mit dem Auto unterwegs und mache mir meinen Kaffee unterwegs selbst. 4 Euro für eine Tasse beim Bäcker muss ich nun nicht mehr zahlen, ferner spart es Plastikbecher.

It's so dementially great to have a mini boiler that is universally usable everywhere including in your car! Think about all those times the motorway service station café was disgusting! Now YOU ARE FREE 🐙✌️. I just bought an AC/DC adapter to use it at home because I wanted a superior capacity in case of I want to use a variety of other devices with it, not just the boiler. This way it's worth the price. To be sure of the model for the adapter, I asked my personal AI. Update: It really does consume very little energy! Excellent investment. You have to try it.
