Hoping it works for squirrels too
They do take about 4 minutes ish, each to put together. Maybe one can be faster than me. So it will take awhile to get them all set up. However, I will go under the assumption that any other ones you get will take the same amount of time. These say they are 304 stainless steel so should last longer. They better priced than others.I purchased these to deter the squirrel from digging in all my pots. Cayenne pepper isn't scaring them off 🤷🏻♀️.Will update at a later date after I've set them outside for use.

No more bird poop droppings on my ground mounted solar panels!
I couldn't figure what to put on the top of my ground mounted solar panels to get the robins from leaving their poop droppings on my solar panels. This did the trick!!!! i zip-tied long garden rods to the top edge of panels and then zip-tied the spikes to the rods. i couldn't and didn't want to glue or nail these spikes to the top edge of solar panel frames. Instead, i use the holes in the spike sections for zip ties to the rod. it works great. Robins are no longer able to land on panels and I no longer have to clean off the bird's poop droppings on the panels. SO happy!!!

Takes a long time to put these together
I aged 27 years putting them together. It’s a very very lengthy process. If you have a teen: ground him for something, and as punishment have him put these things together. Other than that, they go up very easily. They cut OK with tin snips, and look like they belong a Top a penal institution, in all seriousness then all was easy cutting them as easy and I hope they do the trick

Great for hosting bird poo parties
Cool product, we absolutely love this bird nest attraction device. If you love bird watching as much as us, this is the best thing you can get!

Disappointed
Much to my surprise, but the birds actually nested behind these deterrents. Only noticed the nests getting built there yesterday, and one already had an egg in it. Wish so badly it would have resolved our issue with birds making nests between our porch floor joists.

Effective against pigeons but they found another landing spot
It was kind of tedious to install all the spikes and in the end my fingers had some kind of blue grease on it.This was for a small area in the middle of our house that we share with our neighbors. It's an open space so birds can fly down to this area. The length of these were too long so I had to cut them in to quarters. Used Gorilla double tape that's for all weather and taped these down outside the ledge of my windows. This prevented the pigeons from standing in those specific spots but unfortunately, we have other areas that they found a landing spot before. Have to figure out how to scare them away next.

GET THE BIGGEST PACKAGE, YOU’RE GOING TO NEED IT!
As noted, you have to assemble them yourself, which is time consuming, but they’re all that way. I ordered many more that I thought I would need, as I got the largest package (therefore the smallest cost per finished strip). I figured I could give some to my neighbors too (not assembled of course), but it turns out that I needed them to also discourage gulls from nesting on the flat part of my roof. I’m glad I got enough. On the chimneys I used Liquid Nails which secured the strips solidly. On the flat part of the roof, I screwed them into exterior plywood and laid it directly on the flat part of my roof (with small bumpers on the bottom of the plywood, so water would continue to drain properly). Go for it! I gave a lower score to the assembly and install categories, because that’s the way it is! However, I gave an overall high rating, because I don’t think you can do any better!
