The out layer fell off after I used dishwasher to clean it

It took us a few days to find the sweet spot but here's what we do. Boil water in the kettle around 7:15am, pour boiling water into the containers and set the lids on (not sealed), leave it for ~10 mins, warm up whatever food they're taking on a dish in the microwave for ~1min 15secs, put the warm food in the containers, seal and send them to school. The younger boy has lunch at 11:25am, says his food is in between hot to medium hot and so good and he's the envy of his lunch table, haha! The bigger one has lunch at 12:25 and says it's warm enough. We're not throwing away as much food because leftoyare getting eaten and the boys get a good lunch at school so I'll take it!

I use this for my husbands breakfast, i make him eggs in the morning, so I'll boil water and let it sit i the thermos while i make the eggs then i drain the water and dry it carefully, and put the eggs in there quickly and shut it. He says it stays pretty warm till 10am, i make his eggs at 5am

My 7 year old loves the design and I love that it's easy for him to get into at lunch time. My child is a super picky eater so he wouldn't really eat at lunch time and it worried me. We bought this thermos and it has been the best thing for our lives. My child now gets cut up grilled cheese, chicken nuggets or spaghetti for lunch and it keeps it warm. We are so happy he is finally eating thanks to this wonderful product. Thank you so much!!!!! It's super easy to clean. I hand wash it everyday ready for next day.
