These are just as good as the peloton brand cleats. They clip in tight and don’t wobble around at high cadence. Give em a try. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These look and function exactly the same! *by J***G on Reviewed in the United States on 1 February 2024* I've always been wary of non-OEM cleats because it's the only thing holding your foot in, especially if you're bombing down a hill or climbing up steep inclines, but I ordered these since I had another pair of cycling shoes that needed cleats and I didn't want to switch my current ones out. They look exactly the same as the Shimano yellows, the only thing I can see is that it doesn't have the Shimano stamp on the plastic, but the wear areas, the feel, thickness, and the actual clipping in and out function the same. No reason to get the more expensive replacement, check out the pic of the comparison of the OEM vs. these - know that clipping in and out is working just as expected, but it's surprising you can't tell it's not Shimano! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Similar to the Name Brand SPD-SL cleats. *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on 19 January 2024* Normally, I buy the "name brand" SPD-SL cleats, but with the coincidence of needing new cleats and having an opportunity to look at these, I decided to take a look. As I prefer more float, I chose the 6° float so this is an apples-to-apples comparison with the cleats I normally use. The cleats themselves are, for all practical purposes indistinguishable from the name brand. As such, they fit my pedals exactly as they should. The adjusting plates are a little bit thinner than the ones that came with the name brand. I don't know if this will make any difference in the long run. I like to torque the screws down pretty tight (I don't like losing screws out on the road) so that would be an argument for the thicker plates. (If you already have SPD-SL cleats, it's easy enough to just use your old plates.) One "flaw" that these cleats share the name brand is that the screws that come with them are 9mm in length -- Fine for the name brand shoes but too short for my Sidi cycling shoes. You can get longer screws from the name brand for an outrageous price but you can also go to a local high quality hardware store (or Amazon) and get some M5x12 (or M5x14) cap screws that will work just fine at a mere fraction of the cost. (The name brand, of courses, says to only use name brand screws). The FOTGROY cleats don't (as is so typical these days) don't come with any instructions at all so they are silent on what to do if you find that the supplied screws are too short for your shoes. Long term durability of these cleats remains to be seen.
