The rack is heavy, definitely a 2 person install. Adds a ton of storage I use it everydayInstall was easy but a label marking left and right on the lower brackets would be handyThe only thing that would make the rack better is if it sat about 8-10 inches farther towards the front seats. This would allow loading taller objects behind the rack closer to the rear hatch instead of having to slide the front seats forward and try to get taller items in through the front doors.Updated review after 6 months of useThe rack has held up well. Very sturdy and the coating is holding up very well.Due to the design the rack prohibits putting anything tall in the rear of the jeep. Including the Freedom top bag.To remedy this I made a bracket system that allows the rack to be mounted forward of the sport bar. Giving roughly 11 inches between the rack and rear door. It still allows for the seats to reach their rear most setting for tall drivers and recline more than what would be needed while driving.If Hooke road could make any changes it would be that the rack be designed to mount forward of the sport bar. Overall still a fantastic rack for the price. Would recommend versus some of the other higher priced options on the martlet.

I bought this for my 2 door Wrangler and installed it AFTER taking my backseat completely out. It routinely provides me with a much needed storage option. Easy to install and a solid fit. It’s very sturdy, looks great, and holds everything I need it to hold. I get a lot of compliments on it.

If you know what is and how to use an Allen wrench and a 10mm socket it’s an easy install. Fit my 2 door 2024 just fine. Built heavy.

The description should tell you that you can not use the back seats when installed

Through the Amazon filter it says this item will fit an’09 Jeep JK…it does not and the seller as well as Amazon refuses to pay for the return shipping! By the time I pay shipping and a restocking fee I’m not left with much. SHAME ON AMAZON !!

I put this in a 2 door JL, so that obviously means no back seat. Not a big deal for me, since that's the first thing I did was remove it for more storage space. This rack is a great addition. It makes storing things like travel bags, or even groceries so much easier while still having room for larger items like coolers. The net is a nice addition for securing lighter objects. I would definitely recommend.

This is a very solid product. The brackets that mount to the side wall come padded and come with an additional roll of padding in case you ever need it. This was the perfect solution to add additional storage to my Jeep JL. Note this does not come with the bolts that mount to your side/top wall, where a hard top will normally sit. I had some bolts laying around, so it was not a big deal for me. I only have a soft top. This does get in the way of the soft top folding all the way down, and the top will not lock in the down position. It’s not really a big deal for me. You could modify this and scooch it forward with enough ingenuity.

Installed on 2024 JL 2 door wrangler. . I put it in by myself in less then 10 minutes but I'm an old as dirt jeep guy. This is my 9th jeep and I've Installed 100s of items like this on my jeep and other people's. A+! I WOULD BUY AGAIN!
