E-flite UMX Conscendo BNF Basic EFLU32050

Great plane, flies fantastic. Couple quick things though. This plane is thin and kinda easy to break. Be gentle with it, on the ground. Also if you haven't already, use sticky backed hook and loop to secure your batteries. The strap in this plane allowed the battery to slide forward in flight, popping the canopy off which led to a prop strike, which pretty much took the nose off. The 10 minutes of flight, was epic. Can't wait for my replacement stuff.

Fun! Need I say more ! Okay, I will. I’m an advanced RC pilot and I really put this baby through the test. Full throttle square loops. Inverted loops and crazy barrel rolls. Love this plane. My buddies all want one. Hard to stall as well.

Easy to build and fly with 3S on NX8+20. With a Spektrum 3S/300mah, I needed to add a few grams of weight to balance at CG. Can handle a breeze or light wind with SAFE. Gains are not adjustable - you are locked out of forward programming (bummer). Flaps activation toggle is a great feature. Easy to fix with glue and tape if needed, which I did more than once. Weak points needing reinforcement are: fore and aft wing attachments, nose and motor cowl, battery bay. Linkages are good on this one, but Eflite UMX horns ALWAYS like to pop through the foam control surfaces and they are a pain (one star off for that). Always laminate leading edges and wingtips. No servo problems so far.

What a great airplane! Incredible speed range. … Can land very slowly eliminating the need for landing gear and yet has the power for great vertical moves. Roll rate is also excellent.

What an incredible UMX. I know why this is now considered the best UMX out there.Yes, it requires "assembly," but it only takes 30 seconds each time.On a 3S pack, this thing absolutely rips. Note that it's tail heavy, so if you're using a 2S pack, you'll need to add some weight to the nose. Even with a 3S, I use a lot of down elevator trim. My goal is to trim it so it glides stably and without oscillating at idle power. As a result, adding power results in a lot of pitch up moment. I will need to experiment with mixing in throttle with down elevator in order to counter this, but I haven't seen the need yet.It's incredibly maneuverable. Slowing it down for a hand catch takes some practice, but there's lots of opportunity to go around.Do not land on concrete surfaces or your front skid will be reduced to almost nothing in just 2 or 3 landings. Grass landings are the best.The agility is incredible.For the price, I have not found a more fun RC plane. It's no less fun than my Turbo Timber Evolution and can be flown in more places.

The E-flite UMX Conscendo BNF is one awesome aircraft, in a smaller package. Because it weighs less than 250 grams (including flight battery), you can fly it without the need for a Remote ID unit. If you use the recommended 3S 300mAh LiPo battery, you'll experience a very capable, sporty aircraft that's capable of terrific soaring, as well as sport flying. The UMX Conscendo is fully aerobatic, so you can do loops, rolls, hammerheads to your heart's content. Of course, if you simply want to relax and chase thermal activity, the UMX Conscendo is a very capable soaring machine, and with the right conditions, can maintain flights in excess of 30-minutes.Despite it's smaller size, I found the UMX Conscendo to be quite visible in the sky, and with its onboard AS3X and SAFE select options, it actually flies like a much larger aircraft. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do!

It's a fine plane when it works, quite a great small flyer really. Mine had the elevator servo fail during flight on my 3rd time out with it. I was gliding on the wind and it just dropped out of the sky. Aileron and throttle responded just fine. Elevator? Nope. Plummeted to the ground. I must have got an unlucky unit. Will change to 4 stars if customer service for replacement is ok.

One of the easiest and most fun to fly rc aircraft you can buy. Honestly, it's better than any trainer I have used. It's affordable, and small enough to fly in tight areas. Even if you run the battery down it glides for days. The fact that you can run 2s or 3s means you can fly mild or wild. In safe mode you can hand it almost anyone and it flies with ease and comfort. This should be your 1st aircraft.

Wonderful warm liner. Glides well enough to be called a glider but can then carve up the sky really well pulling atleast 7G acrobatics (love the telemetry).They really missed out on the opportunity to add in a variometer to the control board which has a bunch of other telemetry sensors.I regularly get 15 minute flight times with more when I watch the voltage telemetry and actually focus on gliding.Allows flapersons and spoilerons but I haven’t tried that out performance wise having just programmed that upgrade. My research suggested it was underwhelming by but a useful feature.The battery bay is cramped but fits the recommended 3 cell battery. I was able to barely fit a 450 2s battery in the bay as well but I haven’t tried that one in flight yet.I did have to massage the stickers near the elevator down since they stuck up on one side and would have effected the control on my particular model.Getting the wing connector plug in and out takes a little finger finess but it’s doable and the rest of the wing retention system is super simple and the box helps prevent hanger rash.
