Every single chain is pretty and high quality. I an very happy with this purchase. Great for making necklaces.

I bought this for a cosplay project, so my goal was to have a variety of different styles of silvery chains in quantity; I did not have any plan to do any sort of fine jewelry, nor do I have any particular jewelry-making experience.I feel like what I received is excellent value for my goals: a whole stack of chains and findings to play around with. If you are looking to make 'nice' jewelry, I would look more at the seller's single chain spools (which I also considered) - but I would also recommend you have some jewelry-chain-know-how before buying online (which I do not have nor did I need for my purposes). If you're just trying to figure some things out, I think this is a great sampler.All of the rolls are a bright, shiny silver. Some/most of them look pretty nice ("flat pressed cross necklace chain") and a few look a bit cheap. In particular the "width lips chain" was what caught my eye originally. It is very pretty/sparkly but as I look at it/touch it in person I'd worry about durability/catching on clothes. (This was my biggest disappointment - I think all go up in quality from there, but this one is also the one with the most 'edges', so to speak.)I don't have the know-how to definitively determine if something is stainless steel or not, but will do my best to describe what I've received using the listing's names for the chains.I am going off the image description picture (left to right, top row then bottom row) as best I can to describe this next part.**These chains I found to not be magnetic (no noticeable response to magnet):(3) Flat pressure cross necklace chains (medium)(4) Cross necklace chains(6) Satellite beaded cable chains(7) Flat pressed cross necklace chains (medium)(8) Width lips chain(12) Figaro chains**These chains I found to be slightly magnetic (roll attracted, but could not support its own weight on a magnet):(2) Flat pressure cross necklace chains (fine)(5) Flat necklace chains (fine)(10) Flat necklace chains (thick)(11) O word necklace chains(15) Width flat paperclip chain (as described in photo, but is a thick cross necklace chain)**These chains I found to be noticeably magnetic (roll could support its own weight on a magnet):(1) Snake chains (narrow)(9) Silver stainless steel ball chains(13) Snake chains (thick)(14) Cross necklace chains (thick) (as described in the photo caption - but is clearly a paperclip chain)All findings were noticeably magnetic, and were a less 'bright' silver color than the chain rolls.I haven't tested if any chain will corrode. The magnetic ones are the ones that are generally thicker or chains that have a 'core' (eg the ball chain and snake chains). I would take this in consideration if your project may have 'raw' edges.At a glance, the quantity appears accurate - I haven't measured the rolls, but the amount of chain of each looks reasonable to the promised quantity of each.This is the value/quantity/quality that I was hoping for to use in my project, and it will perfectly meet my needs. I am satisfied with what I got, and if I replicate the project/do another similar project, I would consider buying this pack again. I will be keeping this particular seller in mind - especially since there were a few other inexpensive chain spools I was interested in.If/as I have the chance to check for skin reactivity/corrosion in the future, I will update this review.

The chains are pretty. However, I did not receive any of the clasps that go with each type of chain; I only received a few jump rings that were strewn throughout the bag with the chains.

I am the artist type that loves variety. This set of 15 rolls of chains has 15 different styles of chains.They are stainless steel.The connectors and jump rings are as stated except for the snake connectors, my set only has 11 and it should have 20.I will still recommend this set of chains for the variety and quality.

This is a good mix of chains. Before I found this in Vine, I'd looked at quite a few sets, and most of them had a lot of chain that I don't personally like. Definitely just a preference thing, but worth mentioning, I think. It seems to me that this has fewer trendy types and more that are just common chain. One of them in particular would work well for extender chains.Of course, these are stainless steel, nothing terribly high-end. And it's not a ton of any one type of chain. This set isn't intended to be either one of those, though. This set is what it claimed to be when I ordered it.It's great that it comes with findings! When I buy different parts separately, I usually have to compromise on how they match. There are a lot of shades of silver-tone. If you're putting silver things on the chains, like pendants or charms, they may still not match precisely. But they've got you covered with matching jump rings, fold over ends, lobster clasps, and bead chain connectors.The spools do have notches in the sides to hold the ends, but they aren't deep enough to always hold both ends. The back end of each chain is already held in the notch, but the loose end usually won't hold. They come with plastic cling wrap around each spool, so nothing should be loose until you pull that off. You can always cut your own notch if you'd like, but my cheap pliers struggle with it. Depending on how you plan to store it, you may want an alternative way to secure the ends.Overall, I'm more than satisfied with what I received, compared to what I expected. I've used this chain for a few different projects, and it's done a great job so far!

I teach craft classes and one of the crafts we will be doing is making resin pendants. I didn't want my clients to walk away with nothing to hold them on. I saw this and jumped at it.It gives you such a variety of different chains to make your own necklace, at whatever length you want.I like that you get all the different clasps to work with each kind of chain.There is plenty of each to make a lot of different looks.The quality is pretty good for the price and I love the silver look way better than the fake gold.I'm very happy with this pack and I'm sure my clients will love that they get a choice of chain style too.

The 15 rolls offers a nice variety of chains. It has all the connector types for each chain type. The chains are strong, even the finer ones. I have used several of the styles and all have worked well for my jewelry making. I do not really use much ball or snake chain but for some custom pieces I am sometimes asked to use one of those, so it's nice to have a variety of chains on hand, just incase, and I may come up with some new designs to fit in with the chains. There are some delicate styled chain rolls and I really like that in with the mix!They come in a bag altogether so if you do not want to store them in the bag you will need a container or case.

It’s unfortunate that I can’t return this because I need to use what I received now and don’t have time to reorder another. The first and most important chain for my project is no where close to the 6 feet that the listing says it is. Proceed with caution.
