Didn’t work as I hoped! Grease, was still there, removed a bit but, it did not melt, or clean off, as I’d hoped

I am always sceptical about claims of miracle propositions about what these products can do. However I am amazed at this amazing product. It got rid of layers of grease on my oven with minimal elbow grease.

I have seen many positive reviews about Profoam Cleaner and I have followed the tips that each one has given. Applying the foam was quick and simple; spray it on and leave it - the directions say 20 minutes but some users suggest leaving it for up to 40 minutes. The foam does not stay on the sides of the oven, it just slips down, overwhelms the foam that is already on the bottom and what is then left over can spill out of the oven and on to the floor. I guess that depends on your oven and how much of this stuff you use. It did not remove any grease, not even the lightest amount, so anything that was burnt on didn't stand a chance. It did take a fair amount off the oven door but it took all of my strength to scrub it for a good 20 minutes to even get a little bit off - the oven door wasn't even all that grimy. I personally wouldn't recommend this but seeing the amount of positive reviews on Amazon and on other sites suggests that perhaps I was doing something wrong - I followed all the instructions so I can't see how.

Not what I was hoping for. Wanted it to take that baked on, caramelised staining from the oven. It didn’t. Sprays on nicely, foams up. However, it doesn’t stay on the vertical surfaces for 20 mins as the instructions suggest. Good for some surfaces, chrome and glass etc but this isn’t the miracle stuff you’re expecting. Basically an expensive foaming degreaser. Works well in the garage though!

It did exactly what I needed it to do - it was easy to wipe it clean after the 20 minute wait for the foam to do its work

I have been using Mr Muscle Oven cleaner for decades. I have never been a fan of the fumes coming from it, but it seemed to perform well. I bought a can of Profoam. What a revelation! It is SO much easier to clean our oven compared to Mr Muscle and also there is hardly any odour from it. Cut through grease and was very effective at removing stuck on grime on the shelves. Highly recommended!

Great product though initially was quite expensive but you get what you pay for. It really shifted a very dirty cooker tops Emma highly recommend.
