Review: Excellent shoes with phenomenal stability and fit - Good for cycling, weight lifting, moving around. The only thing they aren't good for is running and really even walking. They're stiff like you would want a training shoe to be. They feel the most like a shoe out of any VFF I have had other than the KMD Evo. It is significantly easier to get these on and off than a lot of other vibram fivefingers. It takes me less than 5 seconds to get my foot in each of these compared to maybe a minute for my v treks. I can kick these off and slip them back on like regular sneakers. My feet are 26.5" or so from heel to longest toe. I got a size 43 men's because that's my size in v trek, but the toes are too long, so it fits a bit differently. I ended up grabbing size 42 and it fits like a glove. Wearing this feels like being barefoot, but with a really good grip on the ground as I squat or do whatever else. I would say that these measure true to size based on measurements. A bit less ground feel than the v treks. The strap over the upper helps a LOT with keeping the shoe from moving around. The heel is soft and comfortable. I am all in all very pleased with this shoe. I was worried that it wouldn't be good for running, but it's just perfect for really whatever you want to do. I lift weights, run on the treadmill and on roads/tracks with these. I keep my v treks for off road, but these are my daily drivers. No notes. Good job vibram. Review: Best I Can Find So Far! - More like a 4.5 but I have tried so many different shoes to look for anything that even comes close to vibrams. Once you get used to these it makes regular sneakers feel clunky and unstable. That said, I don't run in these as some people suggest doing because I find it a bit too hard on the feet even with good running technique (perhaps over time or starting younger that might not be an issue). This specific pair has more cushioning than some of the others, I would say still under 2mm. It has a sole which adds some level of foot support and because of the design of this training oriented version, it also feels to me that it has a tiny bit of arch (I am regular footed with normal arches. I bought this pair as a backup pair as I have been playing and training for table tennis in these which at times gets a bit tough on the feet with all the footwork. That said, it keeps me feeling fast on my feet and very stable on the ground where as other shoes make me feel like I'm going to roll my ankle sometimes. All in all a great shoe that will work in a variety of applications depending on your experience going barefoot and the condition of your feet.

Awesome Barefoot Feel — But Sizing Is Everything
This is my second pair of Vibram FiveFingers, and I’m even more impressed this time around. They offer a truly unique barefoot-style experience that’s great for training, lifting, or just getting more grounded during workouts. The grip and flexibility are top-notch, and the minimalist feel really helps with foot awareness and balance. That said—do not skip the sizing chart. Vibrams don’t fit like traditional shoes. I strongly recommend measuring your feet carefully and cross-checking with their guide. Depending on the overall shape of your foot (especially width and arch height), you may need to size up—that was the case for me. It made a big difference in overall comfort, especially once I started wearing them with cushioned or lined toe socks, which add a little bulk. Once you dial in the right fit, these are incredibly comfortable and form-fitting. They’re not for everyone, but if you’re looking to strengthen your feet or just want a low-profile training shoe with great grip and natural movement, these are a solid pick.

Comfortable, good quality, & versatile!
This is the 4th pair of Vibram Five Fingers I've brought to help me on my foot health and fitness journey. I'm glad I've given these shoes a chance. I've even run in them a few times (and they've held up.) I advise starting off slow in adjusting to them. I didn't need an adjustment period when walking... So I didn't give myself as much of a period when starting to run in them. Big mistake. Whatever your run distance or pace in "normal" run shoes, don't hold yourself to those standards when starting out /working to incorporate these into your regimen. (For reference, I'm flat footed.)

Falls apart
Love the shoe, but the stitching came undone around the Toe, purchased in April and by November they were useless. For the price they should have lasted at least a year. I never even put them in the washer, only wear to the gym primarily. Very disappointed.

My favorite trail running shoes so far
I had to get these because I wore through the soles of my previous Vibrams over the course of 1.5 years of trail running in forest/mountain terrain. The fit is snug all around with socks, except that the toes are slightly longer than I need them to be. I might have small toes. Although I was hoping to rebuy the exact same shoes again, these (V-Train 2.0) have turned out to be slightly superior with no regressions to complain about so far. I've been trail running in the new shoes for a few weeks now, I'm going to guess 100 to 200 km or so. They are great in the forest or on textured rubber track, but terrible on asphalt and other perfectly solid smooth surfaces, just like the previous thin-soled toe shoes. They also work as water shoes. So, I would highly recommend them for running and playing on natural surfaces, but I would not recommend them for running on paved city paths, boardwalks or for basketball. I can see that the ruggedness of the shoe has been increased in several ways, but none of that will matter if I wear through the sole as quickly as I did to the previous Vibrams; my previous shoes had no significant damage other than sole wear at the balls of the feet. Having said that, the rubber seems slightly harder in the new shoes, and that feels good.
