This item is a tripod to hold a remote flash or other lighting equipment.

What is the diameter of the upper tubing section of the stand?

The top tube is .65” then .79” and .88” as measured with my calipers. The adapter “barrel” is .607” with the thread and removable plastic cap. I find I have to remove a little plastic clamp to slip on my flash adapter heads.
