The film had some good messages, but it was only ok.

A mixture of happy and a little tug on the heart strings. Very enjoyable and worth watching some fiery language so probably not for the kids but definitely worth the watch. Highly recommend .

Absolutely love this movie

I really enjoyed this film, it’s a great story with characters that you can really believe in. Terrific acting although sometimes us English may need subtitles 😀

Great movie and very Ken Loach. First half will have people questioning any review saying how funny this film is. Stay with it as Ken Loach is always going to go to his political beliefs first. He then lets the cast lighten up and the good guys win. Funny, socially motivated and clever.

Just a fabulous wee story about society, it’s fringes, it’s ups and downs and the water of life that binds it ~ whisky

The characters are real and even though they are up to mischief you want them to succeed.

Nice wee film to sit back and watch no gunfire or car chases….. not saying I don’t like action films sometimes its good to watch something without gunshots and car chases or crashes
