I love the Kiss Core Bread Slicer. First, it doesn't take up any room in my cabinet. The design makes it so easy to put together and take apart. Just three pieces to set into the base. It has a crumb tray! Most importantly, the slices are the perfect size and I get more slices out of my loaf. If you like making your own bread like I do, this wonderful item is a must have.

Let’s be clear on one thing, It doesn’t slice bread, it’s used to hold the bread in place so it can be sliced. It’s very obvious by looking at the pictures, but I felt I needed to point that out since it is called a “slicer." I make bread almost on a daily basis. Slicing homemade bread is a real challenge and I wanted some way to hold my bread in place and guides to make it easier for me. I once owned a wooden one but it was poorly designed and I wasn’t able to get good slices out of it. So, I would just hold the bread and cut. Uneven slices were the norm. Then I saw this. I bought it, got it yesterday, washed it and once dried, I used it to slice a fresh loaf of bread that I’d made just that morning. It worked very, very well. I now have my bread sliced into easy to use sandwich sizes. One simply places the bread on the “slicer,” then adds the sides so that the bread is firmly in place. Add the back so that the bread won’t slide backwards. Use the bread knife and cut between the guides on the “slicer.” It is so easy! This “slicer” will definitely be used on a daily basis.

Easy to use, works great, easy to assemble/disassemble, and easy to wash. It did not come with the mesh storage bag (as per the AI review). Needs some sort of storage for the pieces when disassembled.

I have been making bread for my family in our bread maker for about a year now, but have a lot of trouble getting smooth consistent slices when I slice it myself. This has been a game changer. The blades are sharp, it’s easy and quick to use and it cuts the slices into uniform pieces. It’s easy to clean and store away. I wish I would’ve purchased it a year ago!

Unfortunately, while the concept is great, the actual performance didn’t meet my expectations. The material feels a bit flimsy, especially when slicing denser homemade bread or crusty loaves. It tends to wobble slightly, which makes it hard to get even slices—something this guide is supposed to help with. The adjustable width is a nice feature in theory, but it doesn’t always stay in place securely, leading to inconsistent slice sizes. The crumb tray is a thoughtful touch, but it’s shallow and doesn’t catch as much as I’d hoped, so cleanup is still a bit of a mess. It does fold up compactly, which is great for storage, but overall it’s just not as sturdy or reliable as I expected for regular use. If you occasionally slice soft, uniform loaves it might work okay, but for serious home bakers or crusty artisan breads, this slicer might not hold up to the task. A decent idea, but definitely room for improvement.

We got a new bread maker and needed some way to make a decent slice from the loaves. This thing is perfect to guide the knife straight. It's got a good, solid base that doesn't slip and I like to adjust it to lay the loaf sideways for easier cutting. Folds flat too, so takes no room in the cabinet.

Great quality and it works great as long as you let the bread cool completely.

I changed this to a five star as the seller made everything good.just doesn't work good on a two lb loaf and that's what I make with my bread machine.but it is a good product.

I actually use this for cutting SPAM into 3 equal parts which i cook on an indoor grill. I calorie count & like the 3 parts to be as equal as possible. The best things about this product is its adjustability & durability

I bought the Kiss Core Bread Slicer Guide a while ago, hoping to make slicing my homemade bread easier, and it does work well with that in mind. There are quite a few inadequacies I can think of, actually. **Design and Build Quality** Lightweight gives the feeling of toughness, even though it is a pretty easy-to-operate set. Folding down to minimized storage would fit most people, hence easy storage in the drawer without taking up so much room. Many users have felt it a little on the flimsy side of things. In relation to the slicing part, the end piece won't fully attach to the rest of the slicer, which more often than not is a bit of a hassle as it begets a little playing of the component. **Functionality** I think the most peculiar part of this slicer is that cinched line of wide adjustment, great for use with different loaf sizes. All the taller ones, usually I have a bread maker, are way taller than the low guide sides on this slicer, still blocking it at about one-third down. So I take a guess around the upper edge and then scratch my way down without any guide. This defeats much of the purpose in having a guide at all, so I imagine it can be frustrating in time. **Crumb Tray** It came with a little crumb tray, another guardian resolution. Yes, it does catch quite a bit of the crumb, making cleanup really straightforward. However, since the slicer seems so flimsy, that tray moves just enough to dump all the crumbs off and onto your counter during use. **Verdict** It's a bread slicer that can handle the lighter, smaller loaves while defying some taller loaves from time to time. The thing is compact, maintenance is a breeze, and that adjustable width is great. On the downside; for the bread you bake taller or bigger, a little more height will provide some extra stability. So, having said that, the Kiss Core Bread Slicer Guide is a rather simple tool for nothing but small bakes. If you bake a lot of large-loaves, you might be better off with a sturdier, fuller-scale slicer.
