I use it for quick pickups all the time. Works best on a low to medium pile, on your carpet. It didn't work as well on a heavy shag or on a bare floor, but since I didn't originally plan to use ot for that anyhow, I was very pleased. Price is good too, and the name brand is well known with a sturdy reputation.

I had reviewed several products but decided on this Stanley because of the name and history I have had with other Stanley products. I use it in the RV and it totally works great. Picks up pet hair, dirt and dog food crumbles. The handle feels to be very sturdily made. At this time I recommend this product.

The vacuum itself works pretty well for its size, and it's simplicity. However, after only a few uses the handle's threading became so cross threaded from the constant movement of the vacuum, that the vacuum will no longer stand on the handle. I would return it if I could.

smaller then I expected and the handle has come off a the screw end do to the threads striping on the female and mail ends of the lower end .other wise the sweeper part works well .I would like a replacement please advise .

Great, convenient sweeper for a reasonable price. I picked this since it appears to be the same as the more expensive Fuller brand sweepers (the warranty documents even said "Fuller"). It's just what I wanted for quickly cleaning my large area rug. Pros: affordable, compact, quiet (doesn't frighten my dog), easy to empty Cons: handle is a little short, causing me to hunch a bit; misses some stuff, requiring multiple passes; slides on hardwood rather than rolling

This carpet cleaner is light and does the job I was hoping for cleaning my area rugs without me always having to pull out the vacuum cleaner.
