The ball is made of silicone and is functionally good. Where it lacks is that there’s a fabric external covering which is not stitched with perfection.The second is that over time this synthetic fabric casing or covering which is quite thin will come off, compromising the durability

Have a boxers fracture and the ball works well. Best thing is the cloth cover stitched nicely over the gel ball due which feels fresh after continuous use and not sticky. Very easy to wash as it doesn’t hold any water in it. The only gripe is that I find it a little small. Little larger sizes should be available. Have ordered another one that’s softer though.
