My 93-year-old father uses this to get in and out of the car. It enables him to go places! It's been a lifesaver. Clever little tool, nice and portable, does the job well. Invaluable.

For me the Door Handle works well. This week I had my sister in the car and she found the handle problematic because, although it is strong and can bear weight, it moves horizontally when she attempts to get in and out. The one she normally uses remains fixed which is important for someone with limited mobility. Works great for me. For some, you will need a handle that provides more than weight bearing.

This is a well-built, sturdy little accessory for those that are having difficulty transferring to/from their car seat. It just slips into the latch support on the car door seat post and a groove in the metal handle helps to keep it steady. That's it.I found I could place lots of weight on it, (probably 50-60 pounds), without any deformation to the handle or door latch mechanism. Getting out of the car is when it would be used the most and it can easily be stored in the car's center section or the glove box between uses. The handle is rubber coated with a pattern on it to help keep hands from slipping in wet conditions.Bottom Line: Nicely made door handle support that worked very well with my Kia, VW and Nissan cars. As long as the car it's used with has a similar style latch mechanism, I suspect it will work for many other brands and models as well.

Wanted this for my dad who has trouble getting out of low cars. What I didn't consider is he has a bad right arm so as a passenger this device would be useful only with the right arm. I believe this would be a help otherwise and I can't review it properly since it wasn't used as I planned.

This is a solid car accessory that when if you know it and getting in/out if you have a sore back or just ache this gives that support of a handle that you are not reaching up onto the roof wet if raining/snowing or scorching hot in the summer. The reaching for car door swings into you. This is a click onto the door latch and you are able to really feel the support and when you are getting back in this is something that you can leave on the car door pocket and have constant access. This servers all around the car so this can be easily moved from door to door.
