NICE'N EASY CRÈME PERMANENT HAIR DYE - 4 DARK BROWN

I have dyed my hair using this brand many times. Never had a problem. This time it was easy to apply and the hair colour came out fine. I found the chemical smell to be very very strong though. But I went ahead and followed instructions and washed out thoroughly as usual. Some parts of the dye got on my face and neck. Usually I am able to easily remove this with a little olive oil. It would not budge. I then tried other things even nail polish remover and the colour on my skin did not shift. At this point I gave up and figured after a few showers it will just wash out by it self. In the morning I noticed red marks all over my baby face and legs (we Co sleep) I touched his skin and it was very hot to touch. The marks resembled hair lines. Somehow the chemical (even after washing and drying thoroughly) has transferred to my baby and caused an allergic reaction! He looks as if he has been burned. I will Not be buying this again. If I had known the chemical was this potent even after washing, I would not have gone near it.

I purchased the Dark Brown, and while it was easy to apply, the performance was shockingly poor; it was was too warm a shade to be called dark brown and looked quite orange near the roots (if you have greys), and it fades rapidly within a week or two. I've tried all the box dye brands and this is certainly one to give a miss in this particular shade.

I bought the smaller one use colour and I was very pleased with the colour (dark brown) so I decided to buy the larger size as it was much more economical but the colour was dreadful, it didn't cover my grey roots at all but it left an orangey tinge on my hair. Fortunately I have a colour powder to cover my roots until the awful colour fades.

Warning ⚠️ when ordering dark brown do a strand test.... I've been using nice n easy hair dye for many many years I always buy dark brown, and it comes out dark brown I was to lazy to go to boots chemist so ordered it from amazon exactly the same as I normally buy i didn't do a strand test as never had to before and its the same product and colour, or so I thought my hair is jet black as you can see from the picture I won't ever order hair dye from amazon again... be careful and do a strand test even if you've used the product before, I'm now stuck with jet black hair im not happy

I've ordered 3 boxes of this hair dye and they're all out of date. They have caused scalp burning and irritation and some minor hair loss. One bottle also arrived damaged, leaking chemical solution in the box. I have tried to arrange a return/refund but told it's not eligible for return. Customer service refused a return too, so I've had to foot the expense. Be very cautious when buying from this seller!

My usual dye was out of stock so tried this. Really horrible. Ammonia smell was very strong and the results were not dark brown, it came out much much lighter. I would never purchase again.

Bought this hair dye and it’s turned up today but the date has expired and I’m unable to use the product. I have also been unable to process a refund and send it back due to policy. I wish to be contacted about this and proceed the refund.

This is more a warning than a bad review but I used this together with my son without doing the recommended patch test. Within a minute of the dye going on his head felt like it was burning and he needed to wash it off ASAP. Do the patch test first!
