(Thus earning a discount for bulk purchase).Curiously, one colour was "fulfilled by Amazon" with the other 2 colours coming direct from China.The "fulfilled by Amazon" one arrived first, 2 days before it was due. I must have been in a "picky" mood when I tried it on, because it felt & looked like a tent. To use an old-fashioned phrase: "it fits where it touches". The sleeves were a snug fit, albeit about 3 inches too long.The neck-opening I would describe as "boat neck".Rather thin material too: I wouldn't wear it as a dress without an underslip, & would need to safety-pin the shoulders to bra/underslip straps to prevent the straps from dominating the neckline view.I started to regret ordering 3 & wondered whether it was too late to stop the Chinese supplier dispatching the other 2...Then the other 2 colours turned up, THREE WEEKS before they were due & only THREE (working) DAYS after the "fulfilled by Amazon" one.Tried one of those on & was instantly delighted with it.Material just as thin as the other one, yet seemed less "revealing".Neckline far less exposing & sleeves a little shorter.Tried on the 3rd colour & was also delighted with that, so re-tried the "fulfilled by Amazon" one.Still not as happy with that one as with the 2 that came direct from China. Even though I'm a short person, I am not a small person with a delicate frame by any means. With that in mind, this isn't the exact fit I was expecting, I was expecting something slightly tighter. So if you're smaller than an 8 and want your dress to be fitted, look for another swing dress.With that negative bit out the way, here's the rest: The shape of a swing dress is very flattering. Whether your big up top, or big on the bottom, or straight up and down, a swing dress will compliment you nicely. Plain dresses like this one are very easy to dress up or down with just a few accessories, or none at all!Depending on how short you are, this particular dress might be suitable for an office environment with just a smart cardigan or suit jacket thrown on. As you can see from my photos, my height leaves the hem just a few inches above my knee.The collar is also an ideal height in my mind, for smaller busts that don't fill it out and for bustier chests that stretch it, this will still leave you pretty covered inkeeping with the intended look of this item.The stitching on this piece is perfect, no loose ends or wobbles anywhere in sight. It feels as if it will last a very long time in terms of style as well as overall use.I bloody love this thing, I reckon I'll be getting some other colours too!EDIT: I purchased the same size in the colour black and the fit is a bit tighter, more like what I was originally expecting. The fabric also feels thinner and shows bra lines as a result. The finishing is good and as a whole the dress looks colourful and casual. This dress hangs beautifully and is extremely comfortable to wearI have machine washed this dress at 30 degrees, hung it up to dry, run a light iron over it and the dress has come out as good as new.When I added a belt I realized that this is an outfit where accessories make it wonderful.
