I have 2 black moors and purchased the 55g and it has lasted 6 months and they are growing fine. This was a good buy and i assume it will last them a good year or so. **Q: Do they sink quickly** A: About 70-80% of them sink straight away (especially if you throw the food a bit hard into water), the rest would take a bit longer. **Q: I bought these for my goldfish from pets at home and they didnt eat them at all, also after a few days they all turned green in the container..why?** A: Hi there, my goldfish’s love them. They also really like the flakes, Maybe try those. Also I am not sure why they turned green, maybe it’s a bad batch hence the reason why they didn’t want to eat it and also went green in the container. As good as it gets! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ He loves 'Gold Japan' from Tetra! *by M***K on 23 August 2014* I was looking for a new food for my goldfish, I had always fead him Tetra and Aquarian 'flake' before, this time I purchased these Tetra Goldfish 'Gold Japan' which are like tiny sticks or granules that sink. I thought these would be better than flake food as apparently it is better for him to feed off the bottom, they also keep his water cleaner and make far less mess in his tank. When I first fed him this food he swam into a corner and looked to be sulking, he was used to eating flake that was floating on the surface!, but after a few minutes I think the food started to dissolve a little into the water and he could smell his new food, he then started to munch all his food up and I could tell he was really excited and he loved his new food. To this day I'm sure he prefers Gold Japan food far more than the flake. I have noticed his tank stays cleaner for longer now since feeding him this food. The 55g/100ml tub is small but it lasted a fair while I think about 3 months, he is a big fish though, I think it's very good value and the quality is really good.
