Amazon Basics Thick Dumbbell and Barbell Grips

I already own the premier brand, but took a chance on these guys as I do a lot of super-setting and found the premium brand to be too expensive to justify a second pairFirstly they are night and day in terms of build quality, feels like very thick rubber (such as used for dog chew toys) whereas the premium set gives me an impression of a solid medical-grade composite. They are quite stubby as well - I have small hands yet my palm almost spans the length, so this might get uncomfortable if your hands overhang. They do tend to grip the bars much better (mostly 1 inch equipment with a 1.1inch oly bar), I guess thats the rubbery quality - the fancy set tend to spinUltimately they are a great addition to my gym toys and adds some flavour to exercises - I use these for heavy pull work like rows, and keep the fancy set for push work and chin-bar.. I cant vouch for development but I got a serious pump from the extra difficulty which I guess translates as muscle activation

They ok, definitely put more thickness on the dumbbell only issue is they slide a bit while curling

Excellent product, perfectly sized, robust and simple. Really stresses the grip and makes those forearms work hard.

Unfortunately these aren’t quite what I was looking for. My Dumbbells have thick handbells and the grips do not fit around the whole handle. These would however be ok with a straight handled Dumbbell.

They material isn’t that great in your hand, feeling a little greasy / slimy, it will be interesting to see what a little chalk does to their grip.They don’t have a huge amount of girth to them, and are quite skinny to if you have larger hands you’ll struggle to find a comfortable place to hold them.They also have a fairly sizeable gap on a standard sized barbell.See images for examples of all issues.

I bought these grips for the Amazon Basics adjustable dumbbells (20 lb each). They are perfect fits! They increase the dumbbell bar diameter from 1-inch to 2-inch, making it more comfortable to grip and, more importantly, causing me to exercise my grip more. The material feels high quality. Great value!

This set is something of a standard and does what it is designed for. A lot of gyms have these kinds of product there and they are great for working out. They are also not that expensive so you can get them to do your workouts at home.

Acquisto effettuato poiché i tendini venivano sforzati in alcune prese. Utilizzando questi fatti grip la presa risulta molto più comoda con un minore sforzo nella presa. Non adatto a tutti i tipi di esercizi ma utile in quelli essenziali.
