I have sand in my coop (and brooder for that matter), so it’s easy to keep clean and keep smells down to a dull roar, but just adding a little pinch of Spruce the Coop to the nestboxes makes it smell minty fresh in there. Plus, the girls like to pick through it and find the dried flower heads, then chase each other around the coop, so you get a nice smell-o-vision experience as you’re watching chicken tv (admit it, we all know what that means... we do love to watch the chickens be chickens). Overall, this is a great product.
