I use it in the art studio as a mold release for skin contact, as a general purpose grease for fishing reels, leather drag washers on slip discs, prepping tools prior to use in severe weather conditions, and a million other things. Brand is really unimpoortant, so look for the best size/dispenser and price for your needs.

However, I was a little shocked at how small the container was when it arrived. I expected a bit more product, but since you don’t need to use a lot at once, it still lasts a while. In the winter the backs of my hands always get really dry and cracked. Even if I moisturize a lot and wear gloves outside, they just keep drying out. Someone suggested Vasaline, so I looked on Amazon and saw this was the least expensive. I figured off-brand are usually just as good, and it turns out, it works spectacularly! I just apply it once or twice a day, usually before going outside for a while or washing dishes, and my hands are nearly back to how they are during the summer. The only issue is that it is slow to absorb into the skin, but as long as you time it right it is fine.

Good quality and amount for the money. My cat has a dry nose every now and then, and they recommend that I get some Vaseline and that it would work just as good, if not better than the more expensive products that they sell for that issue in pets.
